Aaa, sister Latvija... :) yep, they have a tall people. In Lithuania people also very tall. Womens in my family line also have high height- it is in our genetics. My grandma, which have been 1,80 in her younger years, and now is around 1,75, also my family call me little and tiny, while my height is 1,72 :D and in our family all mens are from 1.80 to 1.90. My younger 18 years cousin which are highier than me- around 1.85. The funniest thing that I really feel small in my family, and they call me small, while my height is pretty average 1,73 :D and my trying to say that my height is pretty tall, in their eyes looks funny efforts, because all of them are giants with their 1,75-1,90 scale of height :D
@Nick Moss Yeah, of course, I didn’t mean that height makes someone beautiful or not, my comment idea is not about it :) I wanted to show just how lithuanians are tall and how differently they understant height term, it is not about the beauty, but about mentality and understanding things 😅😅😅 Thank you for your nice words! Greetings to Sakartvelo too! 😊
@Nick Moss hm... I am not sure or the major part of his interviewed people are russians, but from the accent you can tell obviously :) Yep... I think the same... I really like this men channel and how attractivelly he creates video of interviews, and my heart just going to be sad when I expecting that maybe after Latvia, almost, almost - should be Lithuania... because all Scandinavian, all Baltic countries apart Lithuania have been interviewed... and.... no.... :D It seems that video with interview with Lietuva people will be not soon, meh... 😪😪😪😪
@Nick Moss good question :) Personaly, I hate communism, which as you, your, my, and other post sovietic traumatised countries should know because of the experience. In my eyes the things what the government did to Baltic and other ocupied countries, is horrible. I don’t have a words how it traumatized the nation and self consciousness of itself, how it traumatized identity, ethnic culture heritage preserving... Of course, now, Lithuania experiencing blooming, thanks God. And step by step, new generations can live in blooming country. So, I would say, that I would not having anything against nation itself, no way! I respect others, as much they respect me and my country. If somebody goes to think that they are better of others and can manipulate other lifes and identity- I would not show any respect to such behaviour and politics, or if it would be russian, or lithuanian, or antarctical. :D So, I don’t respect agressive politics. I firstly see a person, how they treat others, not nationality or religion. I have a plenty of russian, or half russian friends in Lithuania, who are super people. Their behaviour, their ideas, thoughts and actions are respectful to me and my country, they speak perfectly lithuanian and are integrated into society, and makes our country, culture more beautiful by their good action and thoughts. So, as I said- firstly I see the person, later you can judge person by their attitude, actions and thoughts on you and your country :) That is my opinion- you can’t blame people as a whole nation just because of the government imperalistic ideas and supporters of them.
@Nick Moss hm... I am not sure, never checked the prices of flights to Lietuva from Sakartvelo. But I think it should be not expensive, and are often flights between these countries. Somtimes you can deal really cheaply with some discounts, just need to check oftenly the prices and the tickets. Actually, I really recommend a week for sure, just for very basic visiting of Vilnius, Kaunas, Trakai. For Vilnius you would need of course more days to explore, it depends how much you want to see. Generally speaking- the more authentic Lithuania you want to see (not only the capital and mostly visited Trakai, Kaunas and Klaipėda), the more time you need. There is a lot of beautiful and authentic places, the question, how much time you would like to spent, or you want to visit the biggiest cities, or also you want to see some more authentic places :) there is a plenty of them :)
@UC50GNYLCNW0oHYn18iMWbPQ i m half Serbian, and trust me we are the tallest people. Especially in the Herzegovina/Montenegro region seeing people over 195cm is normal.
Same here sick of standing out all the time, feeling like a "giant" many in my country are of Asian descent so 4'9 to 5'7 people/ some men can be weird, feel threatened about height too.
I remember a guy on RUclips (forgot his channel name) who went to South Sudan and saw people who are like 7ft on average all over the street I think a lot of these height stats are not true especially when you consider that South Sudan case.
@@noensomserdegsoveomnattenp7732 ok go away now. No one needs ur racism here, you seem to have a strange complex around 'mixed arabs'. Did someone take ur girl?
Sorry but its not true. The tallest women in the world are by far Herzegovinian and Montenegrin women. Average height 184cm, for males 187.3cm. Montenegrins/Herzegovinians are tallest on earth, even taller than the Dinka tribesmen. Dinaric race is by far the tallest, followed by the Nordic race in general.
Yep. Thats actually true, I did a research on the Dinarics about 3 years ago for my studies. We visited Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro and we found that average height of males is 186.8cm, while women were about 183.4cm tall. People tho have no clue about this. Dinka's are tall too on average not taller than the people from the Dinaric mountain ranges. Whats funny tho, in the area of north Montenegro average height was 192cm. Every family of 4 had at least 3 members taller than 195cm.
It seems that we forgot to mention first the African women ! The tallest number by far more than 80% of all continents combined ! The rest of 12% is spread in the. Germanic norden countries like Sweden, Norway ,Nederland, Latvia ,Estonia and some other countries like Russian federatin ! For Sure there a a small of 7% percentage in slavic european continet like Serbian Montenegro Dinaryc region also.

The acceleration due to gravity is a little bit more at the poles as compared to equator. This is also a contribution factor. This could be a plausible reason why people of all Scandinavian countries are tall.
That doesn't make sense, since the force of gravity stronger. This would compress things like living beings. Secondly, your statement would also contradict with the fact that people of the dinaric race, who are 186cm on average live closer to the the equator where the gravitational force is cancled out more.
Interesting therory, i knew environement could be a factor but this specific factor (gravity) would have never crossed my mind. I think a more reasonable explanation is that Latvians traditionnally marry among themselves which would lead to pass on specific traits like tallness. Think of cattle breeding, if you breed to speces that give a lot of milk, chances are their offspirng will give a lot of milk. I'm only guessing here but maybe if a Latvian read this comment he or she could tell us if indeed Latvian generally don't marry people from other ethnicities?
I was just telling a plausible factor maybe one in 100 factors... All the largest animal starting from Siberian tiger to polar bear are found near the poles. The Nordic people are generally the descendants of the Vikings, who were considered strong and healthy, and maybe they are having less number of recessive genes in their body.
Maybe in those countries women has the right to pick their mates where as in India women were in arranged marriages. Obviously if given the choice women selectively breed taller men.
I have lived in Latvia for 5 months and I suggest everyone to visit Latvia ! It is a lovely country !

💪
@Nick Moss Yeah, of course, I didn’t mean that height makes someone beautiful or not, my comment idea is not about it :)
I wanted to show just how lithuanians are tall and how differently they understant height term, it is not about the beauty, but about mentality and understanding things 😅😅😅
Thank you for your nice words!
Greetings to Sakartvelo too! 😊
@Nick Moss hm... I am not sure or the major part of his interviewed people are russians, but from the accent you can tell obviously :)
Yep...
@Nick Moss good question :)
Personaly, I hate communism, which as you, your, my, and other post sovietic traumatised countries should know because of the experience.
So, I don’t respect agressive politics.
So, as I said- firstly I see the person, later you can judge person by their attitude, actions and thoughts on you and your country :)
That is my opinion- you can’t blame people as a whole nation just because of the government imperalistic ideas and supporters of them.

Haw about African Continent? Or we do not consider them humans too?
It seems that we forgot to mention first the African women ! The tallest number by far more than 80% of all continents combined ! The rest of 12% is spread in the. Germanic norden countries like Sweden, Norway ,Nederland, Latvia ,Estonia and some other countries like Russian federatin ! For Sure there a a small of 7% percentage in slavic european continet like Serbian Montenegro Dinaryc region also.
I did not knew that Dinaric is a Race !
What are you guys talking about? I am a Montenegrin man, my height is 178 cm and I am taller than most of the womens here
