A bit of constructive criticism here: I appreciate the stories you tell, but they are getting harder to watch. Way too much droning on before you get to the point... or the watch. Here, we didn't hear about the watch until almost 8 minutes, and barely scratched the surface. I completely agree, I’ve been ignoring these videos in my subscriptions feed for a while now, and came back expecting an interesting video about an IWC smart watch

I appreciate Watchfinder introducing this Ingenieur Digital Perpetual Calendar watch. I think it is vastly under-rated and under-appreciated. However, I should point out this movement design is not new, and this Ingenieur is not the first model to use it. IWC has had it for years. In fact, its first variation was used way back in 2009 on their Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar (IW3761). Since then, this movement has been used in various models, including Pilot, Portugieser and even the previous generation (Genta-inspired) Ingenieur.
All the shots left out how oversized and thick that watch is to accommodate all the complexity + automatic rotor. I had an IWC 8 day power reserve automatic once, and it had a simply gorgeous movement, like shown above, but damn it was just too thick to wear. If the power reserve's that long, go with manual...
