I was singing for the past seventy years, from the age of fifteen (now 85+ of age), on AIR for 50 yrs,sugam sangeet,(1956-2006) and this sort of lessons are most welcome.I had the privilege to learnt a little, from my Guru Ustad Neeyamuddin Dagger saheb at Lalit Kala Kendra,New Delhi.He laid stress on Kharaj and taught me that one needs to have 'Tahraw' on lower scales more (sa-pancham). I'm a heart patient, cannot hold my breath for long and now out of riaz also.Happy viewing Sir.

I joined music class in 7th standard but the teacher wanted me to learn sa first and he was soo angry wen i couldn't sing solo sa. I lost self confidence n started missing classes n never went back. I have lived with this guilt thru out life. I wish I had teacher like u. Thank u fr teaching free of cost n being positive. 🙏

Thank you that you brought in the conflict that arises on 'OM'. Actually it strikes in the beginning considering religious beliefs later on with time have taken just as a sound for the sake of practice. I feel only the Creator knows what's in mind so it's important to focus on reason and need of doing something instead of making a issue of religious belief. Actually God is not critical, we human make things critical..

There is no local teacher in my city Fatehabad (Haryana), resulting in I face difficulty in proper learnings. Now. I am watching your Video and trying to act upon.
