I think the blue thing you pulled of the leather balm was meant to lift the lid when you turn it. That was the way you opened shoe shine cans. Glad you were able to get it open. Love the Galen Leather cover. I want to look into that. I only have the one Moterm cover in brown. Happy March!

My camel TN was kinda suede feeling when i first got it, but now it's smooth. 🤗
What would also be cute is to put some tiny colorful beads on your bookmark. I did that to mine and it's so adorable.
I have the same Galen Leather wallet insert but in Crazy Horse brown. It's beautiful. I use it alone (without a TN cover) with a loop, and inserted a TN insert on it so I have a place to write things down on the go. That wallet is only meant for Hobonichi Weeks but I cut the cover of the back of a TN insert a little and Bob's your uncle!
