- While I wasn't playing MK7, I went and grinded in this game. In total, it took me close to 84 hours since there's no in-game clock in this one. I only raised my attack through each level up to the highest and used the best items in the game for maximum damage and recovery. So in other words, destruction!

The dark star is just like" Holy fucking shit, what kind of fresh new hell is this?"
I did this a few years ago through all of the games, even the remakes. I even ground out beans to maximize all of their status to 999. It's really satisfying to beat every final boss with just one attack haha
I'm sure I could grind for beans as well, but that would a millenia. Beans don't always spawn often.
@@STSSilver99 true, I forget what I did. It made easier to get beans but still tedious

@@leafbladie Yes there are, (the bean dig holes) but you can get them as rare drops from enemies too
Y'know I've never seen that animation before where if you defeat dark Bowser while fawful was out he'd come running by to heal him it's amazing how much attention the Devs put into this game
That's true. That happened in the original one as well.
I've seen it multiple times, because I was too big of a dummy to know that I had to use Vacuum on Fawful.

I miss the small stuff like when you break Fawfuls glasses the dark star closes it's eyes for whichever one was broken
But a nice touch for all legs to hide and Fawful grabbing on the ceiling
Yeah. I liked the originals more.
I never noticed the dark star closing it’s eyes like that, but I haven’t played the originals since I was little, maybe tween. The only major change that I noticed that annoyed me was that they changed the mechanics for the pipe and Window special attacks. I remember how they used to go on and on forever until you eventually messed up/defeated all enemies on the screen, and how the pipe used to attack all enemies, but now only one.

The final boss doesn't even have 5 digits of HP, so that's a massive overkill.
The max displayable damage in one hit is 99999 (I think).

Level 30 for the first 2 or 40 for the rest is enough to make the final boss extremely easy if you get max bonus stats each level

Cue doing over *10000(!)* damage in one attack, where Dark Bowser has like 1260 HP (in the original, 1000), and to put in comparison, Dark Star Core that you have to delete its HP to 0, has a max HP of 2070 (original version has 1560 HP).

@@STSSilver99 Mario and Luigi are able to break the conventions of the FF series and do 5 digit damage instead of being limited to 9999 damage per hit.

If you were to use the stat calculations. I think this Bowser could 1 or 2 shot Undyne the Undying since Undyne has a LOT less defense. 99 when Dark Bowser has more than TRIPPLE the defense she does. Mario and Luigi's Falling Star would be a ONE-SHOT on her.

That must have taken a long time to get to level 99! How did you do it? I have good patience, but I had a hard time to get to level 40😂😂
I just grinded the bros in the Airway till I reached and Bowser inside the castle till they reached level 99.

I was actually at level 45 when I decided I wanted to grind to level 99. I would say it took around maybe 50-60 hours of in-game time. I don't know the exact amount but I think it's close to that.

I was tired of grinding (in the original), so I just fought the final boss at LVL 35 (for all characters) and killed Dark Bowser with a single Broggy attack and Dark Star Core with ONE falling star
If you want to, get the new version. It's easier to grind once you get the necessary items.
If anyone gets hit, they die instantly. Might as well pump out as many Bros Items as possible.

If you pause the screen, it shows what gear I used. For the bros, I went and grinded in the air way and for Bowser, I grinded in the castle till they were at level 99.
Wow! I used to think that the 10K damage I dealt to the Dark Star Core was impressive, but not any more! :)

I find it funny how you took the time to legitimately grind and every time I make it to the final boss of a game I’m too lazy to even get to level 35.
The only reason I beat flipping paper giga bowser two days ago cause of the battle card “Lower bowser and bowser jr level by 5”
Honestly, I wanted to grind to level 99. I used to have the original version and only grinded to level 75 on the bros, so this time I wanted to grind all the way.

We didn’t really use the internet that much growing up, although I finally did like 7 years after I first got the game and I have only beat it once, even though I must have played through to where I got stuck like about a hundred times.

I know. I was using Snickerstream when I recorded this. The audio isn't really good through an aux cable when using it.
Original game looked and played better
As with originals, that's mostly true.
I basically did this in dream team with the farmer boots gear .. I’d grind neo bowser castle and the dream world counterparts over and over and I’d gain 2 level ups and atleast 30 of each bean 🫘 took months to do .. I wanted to beat the battle ring with as few moves as possible .. my best was 8-10 moves I think
