The idea of keeping monsters who've been proven to be dangerous to humans alive, at the expense of the people you claim to be protecting, is insane to me🤷🏾♂️
Anthony Arkwright the Devil Mask Ripper should've been on this list he's the youngest man on record to have received the whole life order at 22 years old and for good reason his crimes are far more horrific than any film that Roth Wan Craven or Tarrantino could make
Steve Wright has also been charged with the murder of Vicky Hall, her body was found near where I live. I was living in Ipswich at the time and it was a really scary period. Ipswich is such a small place, everyone knows someone affected by his crimes.

Why? Why does the UK reduce charges/sentencing with a dx of anti-social personality disorder? One charge reduced from murder (intentional) to manslaughter (unintentional) and other was sent to an open prison. WTF is Parliament doing?!
@dannyx2197 It was an exaggerated joke about sensationalism, and how they always suggest someone is ‘possibly responsible’ for more, whether there is evidence or not. Even this video does the same thing.
@@Bellpipe41 True, but in researching these, you'll see that they are sentenced for proven murders, but suspected over more. WatchMojo Team, best keep your eye on the Lucy Letby situ. Private Eye (UK mag) is doing a deep dive into her case, and... long story short.. they are putting a lot of evidence forward that she might be innocent. not saying she is, at this moment. but a lot of the evidence is looking more and more circumstantial, at best. the chief prosecution witness, is a retired GP who is saying that murders are still taking place in the hospital since Letby's been convicted; so... there's that. she probably did it, but the case against her grows shakier by the day. and we've all grown up with stories of the Guildford 4, and the Birmingham 6. not saying WatchMojo is gonna be around in 15 yrs time, but in 2039 i wouldn't be surprised if she's exonerated.

Unlike many countries... in the World. The Earth consists of more than the West. Half the world's population live in places that operate the death penalty. I fail to see the sloppiness of research when stating a fact.
The UK finally abolished the death penalty in 1998. What happened in the 1960s wasn't abolition - it was just a moratorium on its use for murder. It was still a sentencing option for high treason, but even then I doubt it would actually have been used.
@@halfbakedproductions7887 Correct, it has been used, officially, since 1964. Some people might say that it was used extrajudicially against people involved in the North Ireland troubles by the RUC and SAS later than that.

Lucy Letby may or may not be guilty - but the conviction is extremely questionable. I hate conspiracy theories but this is different and Private Eye are quite rightly bringing this to light now.
She's got nothing to gain by admitting it. The only way I can see her admitting anything would be if she had to show remorse to get parole. She's got no chance of that.
You give the death penanatly to the incorrect person, then all of a sudden you cannot trust the process, regularly the wrong person is on death row in the US and turns out they didnt commit the crime.

What about David Copeland, who detonated nail bombs in Brixton, Brick Lane and Soho in 1999?
Possibly because Copeland is a terrorist so arguably isn’t a serial killer

“There have been three confirmed murders, but the true figure is believed to be as high as three hundred!”
