Storm Dennis could not menace John & Tim.
Respect. 👍
You sir (and Tim) are a bloody legend. Thanks for the real videos, always inspiring.
I like the way your socks were actually steaming by the fire, made me chuckle.
Aww..missing Mr. Tyson muchly! But nice to see him for a moment. He wants to come out so badly...broke my heart to see him wrap his front legs around you! You guys are nuts for traversing that water in the dark...but that's why we love Ya! 😉🇨🇦
Every couple of years I bump into this channel. Always makes me chuckle, the stuff you eat. Lol.
Thank you for picking up trash left by litterbugs.Make sure Tyson gets a nice long bellyrub,he is such a good boy
I sure do admire your willingness to camp in all sorts of weather. You sir are a better man than I.
I’m watching this from a hotel as my house is under water from this storm! The hotel has let me keep my dog with me even tho they have a “no dog policy” glad Tyson will stay warm.
That was so nice they let you keep your best Buddy with you, life is hard enough for people in this shocking weather. 💜
I'm Sorry to hear this I wish you well and hope the rest of the year is prosperous for you 👍
Christina Watson thanks :)
bob f l, thanks mate
Ok, I’m a cissy, stayed home all weekend and waited for the storm to stop. But enjoyed your adventure 😀
Loved it John, seeing the familiar fields, river and tunnel. Missed Tyson but glad he stayed home in the warm, Great to see the fresh cream chocolate eclairs, no one can beat your log fire meals. 🧓🏻
This was exciting but scary too. I love the wild weather camps.💜
I knew you two would be out in it!!!
West Wales we were up in the eighties mph yesterday, keep safe and tell Tyson what a very sensible boy he is.
Thoughts with everyone under water today.
I'm just thinking about that village of yours, hope your stack is still standing!👍
Two very brave souls going out in that wind👍. Can't believe the water levels difference wow. Won't be long before your camping on that washed out island 😀. Thanks.
Another crazy weekend of weather.... well done on camping in it.

Mark

John, you must have a big hairy pair bud! That looked quite sketchy on the way out, and with the river doing its own thing mate, ya could have come up short. But you have been at this while now so I guess you have the experience to take it on. Good job boys , Big thumbs up.
Jeeshe, that walk into camp was scary! Those are the conditions people get washed away in. Great job staying alive and eating well, I don't blame your pup, mine looks tuff too but she would just sit and cry. TC Amy
rain on a tarp, it doesn't matter where you are, it makes the night great for sleeping, if you stay dry.
Fond memories of sleeping out around Manchester airport 50 yrs ago in Cheshire.
You certainly know how to read the weather John. Could have been slightly disasterous had the waters not abated.
Cheers John and Tim. Top effort fella's. And feasting lime Royalty to boot.
what a great video please do more just like this now that's what I call camping
Love also how you always cook lovely food yummy....especially the salmon. and you're roasts.... how on earth you manage to cook them I don't no very clever and you certainly no you're camping.

Lots of respect to the two of ya
I enjoy the video shots you share of your home town, purdy town. Looks to be nice and clean too.
Great camping adventure, for sure. Tyson would've been a mud-puppy for sure. His presence in camp just adds so much though, he's missed.
Amazing, how fast that river rises and drops again. Time for some new Gortex Knickers though.
Been waiting for this my boy!!!
First !!! ????? . Cheers John and Tim , all the best to you and yours :)
Excellent video. The storm was very impressive. Hoping this snow storm that came through here, weakens before it reaches your area. Best to you.
Really enjoy your guys videos.
Living the life lads, great camp site.
I told Tim that you guys should take your girlfriends out for a trip, love the videos man keep them coming!!

Mate love your content, been watching you for around three years now absolutely love what you do, would be nice to see some of your camp fire cooking vids again really enjoyed watching you cooking all sorts over a fire absolutely amazing mate, Keep it going fella.
Dude! That was an epic trip. I love the rainy trips you take. I always have man. I tell ya what, I was wishing I was with you guys!!
Cant beat a UK storm, couple of eclairs and you can survive anything. Tough as nails :D
Most people see knee deep water as a bad thing but you two see it as a insurance to getting a good spot all to yourselves. 😎
Missed Tyson. Do you ever have to worry about flood water at your house ? Before all this virus stuff I used to travel to Carlisle from not far outside Glasgow on my cheap Club 55 rail ticket just for a Pizza in a small Italian just outside the station-- Best in the UK ! Love the videos, please keep them comin. Thanks.
That was quite the stormy camp lads, but you handled it very well, and had a great time.... Tyson would have been covered in mud.. Good call in leaving him at home! Storm Dennis looked like it the the whole of the UK pretty hard.... Straight after Ciara too! Makes for an interesting camp though!
Amazing food even in those conditions, love your channel :-)
Awesome video. What a massive storm. Really enjoyed
To use your phrase, that trip to camp was “epic” 😎
There’s more people in the woods during a storm than in their homes these days!
Hardcore John! Still laughing at Tyson being a wuss. 🤣 I’d have been sheltering in the village. 😀
well on you guys. top work 👍
Great fun. Thank you.
I miss the village!! lol excited to see next video about it bro, long time sub here and once again love the vids
p.s. I agree that Tyson would NOT have liked that, good choice dad :))
Had to laugh! Apple wood 'smoked' cheese with a smokey log fire? Hmm. Haha :D
Storm Den went back to Mother nature saying about how damn solid Carlisle195 with Partner In Crime Tim unstoppably are.🎪
Thanks for the tops film. From Craig Lee.
Smoked apple wood cheese and oatcakes, just what I was having while watching the vid, got a hankering for the Mexicana chilli cheese now though, not had that for ages.
Top video boys... Really enjoyed this one, wish I was there. 👍
Cracking video John I was out in simonside hills on Saturday night was wild you get a lot of flooding up your way was mental how the bank broke right in front of you thanks for sharing atvb jimmy 😎😎
you guys sure like a challenge - fun video - thanks
total respect
Got a big enough fire? I think you might need more wood on that... :) Oh my, you almost made me sea sick with the rocking in the hammock the second night. I only teasing. I enjoyed the camp.
Tried doing a Dennis, ended up driving around for 6 hours trying to find a place, all fenced and gated off by money laundering fake charity trusts.
That's what I call a storm! Great vid brother! Cheers, Marc
I do like Carlisle. Was up there this week taking my lad back to Uni. Plenty wet like. This will get you plenty of wood for the summer though
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻My Staffordshire was called Dennis, and he was a whirlwind 😂😂and I was in the Peak District for Dennis 😬😂😂🇬🇧
Wanna send some of that rain over to New Zealand. Very very dry here at the moment.
Been raining heaps here in Australia these past 2 weeks. Been so good it put out allthe fires and filled the rivers and dams. Best rain we have had in 30 years.
@@MideanStone Aussie needs all the rain it gets. We qre getting fires now with how dry it is but thankfully NZ haven't got the fires as bad as Aussie did. Feel for you guys.
John, I'm already missing the village. 😢
some guy that went with me on a night hike in, set his boots by the fire to dry while we slept. he woke to elf shoes, toes curled up and we were 11 miles in. when I last saw him, he was walking like a man on broken glass. Great set up and the salmon looked out of this world good
well lads , , , another soggy adventure , , yep , , you ate quite well , , had a great fire , , had a very good tie-down system on your tarps , , all-in-all , , you can fairly say you had an epic camp-out in the worst storm in over 30 years , , wow , , you're ready for a Bear Grylls show now : - ) lol . . . pay no mind to the blatherings of softie shatheads that spout endless what-ifs , , you made it through : - )
Love the video, been here a while now! Could you do a video like this but cooking on a stone? My bushcraft cabin got taken down by council unfortunately
loved it
Thank you John for the nice video loved it😊👍
You two really like to camp in the middle of storms. It is hard to see with so much camera work in the dark. Interesting to see the result of the storm after the storm and floods. Take care. :-)
