I love Infinite Painter's 3-finger gesture that let's you change brush size and opacity just by dragging your fingers vertically or horizontally. Also, you can draw with your pen and erase with your finger, that's so useful!
@@agustinporatti9578 I have the Android version. If you go in the settings, there is a section where you can define all kinds of shortcuts. Pen buttons can be modified there.
I use both software regularly and in comparison, the subtle pen pressure that is closer to a traditional brush and pencil is Infinite Painter's strength.
I've used infinite painter for years on a Tab S7+ and before it on my note 9. Once you learn the gesture controls, how to manage layers (including the very important clip function) - it's just awesome. I've never used procreate but no video I've seen has shown me something that'd justify a change. I'm no pro but I make webcomics all the time, I draw often . One thing I will mention - infinite painter has no text tool (yet) but they say 'someday' - I wind up exporting and then using another app to do text. Infinite painter was not free - but it's extremely cheap to get it ad-free and all functions, hell it costs more to go out and eat lunch than to buy either of these apps. Hilarious compared to the price tag of the tablets. ;) Thanks for the vid! I always wonder if procreate really is worth a go so I sometimes look at these.
I have infinite painter on my 6 lite tablet and procreate on iPad and my honest opinion on them for drawing I prefer infinite painter on my tablet more give it time and infinite painter will get better and get more popular
Im a beta tester for Infinite painter I've know its developer since it came out on Android. I own Procreate but the tools are so easy, fun, and constantly updating because he listens to us that I see no real need for Procreate. Text is my only issue and thats no big deal. So infinity is my go to and my fans love it's end result.
As an artist...i have been using infinite painter since I got my Note 5...and upti S8...and it works well...better pen pressure and gesture controls...tho not as popular as Pro Ceeate...it is one of the best alternatives for ppl who work in android OS
infinite paint is so underrated (in my opinion), I've used ibis paint my whole life, but 1 time i was borrowing my brother's tablet, i was just surfing through so much paint apl, i stumbled across infinite, and i immediately fell in love with it
@Olgaroses should be 5 or 10 at most, but it's def worth and my preferred painting app, I prefer it over photoshop because the brushes and the customizability of them
Infinite Painter is a broken mess tools work sometimes and will always end up not working , I'm working on a layer draw a square and within the layer in the square do a gradient fill the whole screen turns gradient but yeah sometimes it works and sometimes it don't , app is very buggy
I think it's super important to note that infinite painter is NOT free, it costs about 10 bucks, the free download might as well be a demo with 90% of the features blocked. HOWEVER, it is still VERY much worth the price, I just want people to be informed
"ahhh but ifinite isn't free" And since when do things need to be free? Or be free to be good, or better? You need to free yourself from this poor thought, would you go to the streets to sell free artisanal hamburgers? You would buy an expensive trailer, maintain it with your money, pay for water, electricity, gasoline and all the necessary materials, without using all your time and effort. To give hamburgers to anyone for free on the street? The day you do this in all areas of your life, then yes, you have the right to complain if an application is not free. These people kill themselves day and night working to develop an application. If you've studied programming in your life, do you know how sinister and complicated programming is? You have no idea, So why should these people bother working to develop an app for you for free? Are they your slaves by any chance?
I've been using it for free for a year now? And I just downloaded it from the play store. I mean, there is a paid version with like 300 layers and more tools for like $10 or something. But there is a free version 😊 for beginners (like me a year ago) who want to dip their toes in without spending money on more art supplies - even digital ones.

do you know any shortcuts for eyedropper? I know you can drag-off the color circle te get the eyedropper, but that means two precise movements haha.
@agustinporatti9578 I have linked it to the button on my pen.
@@CapitaineNautilus OH! how do you do that? that'd be awesome. I have ipad pro m4 / apple pencil pro. I havent seen settings for it
@@agustinporatti9578 I have the Android version. If you go in the settings, there is a section where you can define all kinds of shortcuts. Pen buttons can be modified there.
Really? I didn't know that... I've been going inside the brush menu all the time!

Recently acquired it. Love it. Ive used them all. Was using Heavy Paint. Now Im all Infinite.
What about the coaches?
Awesome video as always….infinte painter is underrated in so many ways. I gave it a try and I fell in love with with it.
If you have an Android tablet, Infinite Painter is the best in my experience. I love it.
Dominant setback for Procreate is the overpriced Apple stuff. You get a tablet with similar performance out of Asia for half the price.
Thanks for listening to me..... been waiting for this comparison for so long 🎉🎉
I have infinite painter on my 6 lite tablet and procreate on iPad and my honest opinion on them for drawing I prefer infinite painter on my tablet more give it time and infinite painter will get better and get more popular
You SHOULD definitely create an official comparison video since you have both devices!
Infinite has better brush engine.

Sure buddy.
You weren't a beta tester and you don't own procreate
"Infinity is my go to"
I have no issue with text because I prefer doing it in a dedicated app for text editing in anyway.
As an artist...i have been using infinite painter since I got my Note 5...and upti S8...and it works well...better pen pressure and gesture controls...tho not as popular as Pro Ceeate...it is one of the best alternatives for ppl who work in android OS
I love the Tool Icons in Infinite Painter
You forgot to mention that at least on my android phone, you have to pay for Infinite Painter if you want to use more than 3 layers
infinite paint is so underrated (in my opinion), I've used ibis paint my whole life, but 1 time i was borrowing my brother's tablet, i was just surfing through so much paint apl, i stumbled across infinite, and i immediately fell in love with it
I bought Infinite Painter
Its a like "culture shock" 🤯
From my Ibispaint perspective😅
Hi!, Is infinite painter better? How much do we have to pay? I hope it is a one-time payment 😂
@Olgaroses I don't remember the price, but it's cheaper than Ibispaint. When you purchased, it's forever!
@24darkwedge that's great. Thank you for answering me :)
@Olgaroses should be 5 or 10 at most, but it's def worth and my preferred painting app, I prefer it over photoshop because the brushes and the customizability of them
Infinite painter feels great!
Really informative and helpful video to help evaluate the differences between the two Apps. Thank you !
Infinite Painter is $9.99? not free, I mean you can download it for free, but all the features that makes it on par to Procreate are paid.
I use infinite painter, but can we change pixel to be vector with it?
in Procreate you can make a square and hold at end and it will make a perfect square can you do this in Infinite Painter ?
Yes
Yes
Yes, and circles, triangles, curves, straight lines, and you can edit them before committing to the paper.
Infinite Painter is a broken mess tools work sometimes and will always end up not working , I'm working on a layer draw a square and within the layer in the square do a gradient fill the whole screen turns gradient but yeah sometimes it works and sometimes it don't , app is very buggy
İnfinite painter wins
May i ask what Ipad are you using?
I personally preferred Infinite painter after trying both.
I think it's super important to note that infinite painter is NOT free, it costs about 10 bucks, the free download might as well be a demo with 90% of the features blocked.
HOWEVER, it is still VERY much worth the price, I just want people to be informed
well done video, got Painter lol
Hepsini denedim infinite painter'ı sevdim hi paint çok fazla pikselli gibi geliyor
If you like not pixelated then Autodesk sketchbook is good at that
infinitiy painter is not free on IOS
thumbnail art of luiza mcallister s2
What a nice video! ❤
What a good video 👍
Can someone please tell me the artist's name at 5:35 minutes?
Kristina kasoi or kaspi on RUclips
Neither, Art studio Pro beats both.
Adding 3d and animation to infinite painter will make me abandon buying an ipad altogether.
I use infinite painter and its basically Corel Painter for the ipad.
Wb cloverpaint
So is infinite painter in a way is like procreate but free and for Android
yeah, its good for an artist with a small budget
It's not 100% free though
🎨💅👩🎨🖼

tldr; “it's a lot of work to create and maintain an app. Those folks have bills to pay too. Get real.” 😊

Believe me, infinite painter perspective guide is superrrrrrr bad.
