Brother thanks so much for this video, not only has it helped me and As i was looking for a good and better in-depth detailed vid on this but you went all out and killed it all around your truly an person I look up to in. bowling and same thing to Elise too but I truly wish you were close to my home so I could take in person now lessons haha but hey it’s all good I cant complain an blessed to have this video to refer back on
This dude is obvious elite. Far better than I'll ever be, but he's releasing the ball from way over the equator of the ball. Still getting good revs without really being behind the ball.... got me thinking... should i stop scooping my ball onto the lane if he is this good without being incredibly low/far behind the ball.
I think you're looking at the wrong thing. Of course his fingers are above the equator at the end of the release. At the start of his release his fingers are way below the equator. Should you stop scooping the ball on the lane? Yes, you should. There are different ways to create rev, but they all have one thing in common. Roll the ball off your hand.
@@lazylion1421 I looked again at 2:54 he's definitely very high on the ball, watched in slow mo, at his hip he's already holding it like he's palming a basketball. It does look better in his release drill example though.
That's good for a beginner but if you want to get even better add the wildly off balance fall off into the next lane. Pro tip; as you fall off flail your arms as though you intend to take flight.
I watched alot of videos and i will tell you your's is top notch. I learned alot from your video . Too bad you don't give lessons if you do i would love to meet you .Please let me know if you do. Thanks. Two thumbs up
Watching good players perform foul line drills makes it look so easy, but I have never been able to do it right. I use a very tight thumb hole and have no problem snapping it off on full speed shots, but when I do foul line drills I can’t get my hand relaxed enough to pry it off. If I take tape out I just drop it. Any ideas?
Hi, do you know how I can stop my bowling ball from hooking over the finger holes? I can see from my bright grips that I'm not rolling it forward so why is the ball thumping and not hooking?
Your hand is turning too early and the thumb is staying in the ball while you’re rotating the hand. Also, the fingers and thumb are probably coming out at the same time, which causes the “rolling over the fingers and thumb”
These old eyes think that being able to dial down that speed from deeper inside has very much improved your game this year. Still work to do but it’s certainly much better.
Let's talk about picking up spares! Your word salad is for the pros. Not amatures. You are just showing off with your word salad. And the average bowler does not understand axis rotation and most of the words you use.
Naturally a great teacher💪🏾
Great video Nate. Love the descriptions and explanations to why you're doing different things.
Thanks from Italy, a nice video.
Thank you for watching!!
Excellent lesson. Learned alot with that. Thanks Nate
Glad it was helpful!
Good demonstration, Nate! Thanks again🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿
Great video. Thank you for sharing as well as giving us your time.. hugs

Great video! Wish I could get my hand to do that. It has a mind of its own lol!
This was super informative! Definitely a part of my game I did t realize I could adjust. Thanks for the video!
OldmanPete from OZ, enjoying all your videos , loved this one as it explained a couple of things that I will concentrate on.
Nate, Thanks for the video. Going to practice it next week 🙂
Can you explain a bit on axis tilt too? Thanks!
Nice job sir!! I love your game!
Crazy how much our styles are similar Nate
Great informative video.
Thanks

I noticed that also & im jealous. Still trying to learn how to create revs at 59 yrs old & still havent figured it out 🤷

Very good info. New subscriber
Thanks for the sub!
My favorite secret to success is when I flair my elbow out to the right and yank the ball left. Love when I do that. LOL

Nice work
Hello, off topic. Possible to provide some feedback on the SST6 Dexter shoes? I'm thinking of getting a pair for myself.
That’s what I wear and they are awesome
Thanks for replying, much appreciated 👍🏻
Do you manipulate your tilt at all? or is it better to just work with the rotation?
I do but that’s for a different video 😃
Great video. I wished u did the foul line drill showing the other 2 so we could really see the position of your hand
Seen many videos about this topic. They never can clearly illustrate this to newbies.
