Sang this song August 26, 2023 to the love of my life, he turned 70 today. Had to start over 3 times but finally sang through the whole song. Love it forever! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤🙏 thank you😊
This song takes me back to the 70s. My parents would play this on their 8 track. What a beautiful song and what a voice. Still gives me shivers to listen to her sing.
So beautiful and captivating, I can picture in my mind a woman expressing that deep emotion. Dionne eloquently delivered this superbly, and softly. This song is a golden gem to the heart.

These and other songs the Dionne sings are classic indications that regardless how good a person can sing, there are just certain songs that are just made for that one voice. And this is one of them! Truly classic love song!
what a song. i love her version and herb alperts. what a romantic song so beautiful, so gorgeous. so sweet so full of love and life and beauty. i love Dionnes voice, so distinctive.
This version is alright, im used to this version, I like Aretha Franklin's version much, much better its the best to me !!!!! no shade to anyone who likes Dionne's ,
I like this version a lot more than Arethra's. The beauty of the melody is lost in her gospelized version. And with Burt Bacharach, I feel that the melody is so key. But hey, to each her own, and no shade to you Lisa.
Aretha’s version is not as good as Dionne’s version. Aretha is good. However, I think that this version is better because it is not over done. I think less was better with this song. It is a sweet and innocent type song. And Dionne sang it to perfection. Aretha’s version was over powering and while her voice is amazing. The song to me loses the sweet and innocent type feeling that is captured in Dionne’s version. Aretha is the Queen of Soul and that will always be. However, Dionne’s version was better to me.

great song and an extraordinary voice, but on this one I like Herb's versión better.
No one better than Dionne
I loved Herb's version. But Dionne's version melts me.
No one better than Dionne, maybe Patsy Cline?
