- Hello everybody, This is A Pilot Episode 1 for a series of the Full story of FFXIV completely voice acted with the help of AI! These Episode are extremely hard and time consuming to create by a single person and I will continue them only if I have very positive feedback about them!
I personally enjoy adding some character into the game and you can see it on my dialogs!
You will find here all the MSQ story quests voice acted and edited as cannon movie!
I hope you guys like it so I can make more of them!

I just started playing before DT and in order to catch my friends up I paid very little attention to the story. The none voice acted parts were mostly skipped. I really want to go back over the story and this is absolutely perfect! Please keep this going

Me neither! Then all I had to do was to just cut the scenes and make it cannon! 😂
@16Vagabond there's a plugin that does this believe it or not. Artemis Role-playing kit. They've got the whole shebang voiced, a d are cleaning it up atm.
Damn this is great, wish Square would have had voices for some of these cut scenes. Having to sit there and read just takes you out of the story, when some scenes are voiced and others aren't. You have earned my Sub! Here's to hoping you continue and do most of, if not all the scenes from every expansion.

I know the devs have said in interviews that they don't think it's necessary to voice over the entire MSQ but there's clearly parts that would have a lot more emotional weight to them with a good performer reading them out. I'm hoping they at least go back and redo a lot of the ARR stuff since most of that is not up to par with what comes after, and it's probably harmed the amount of people that stick to the game for the long haul.
This is brilliant. I'm looking forward to watching more.

I have been hoping someone would do this for a few years now since AI voices started becoming public tools. - I am completely on board and subscribed for the series!
if i had one suggestion however. I would suggest doing longer videos in a patch by patch format (especially since each patch has a title name.) And maybe do the expansion stories as 3 part episodes. - That may be too much work but I think it would maximize the potential of this series and become a tool for players that want to get more context out of the story without reading every single line of text. Amazing work keep it up!

I did like the voiceover when the main character was walking into the inn. That was a creative use of time. I also liked the aaded track for the Golem. Otherwise, I'd like to see the fight sequences added, if abridged somewhat. Giving a voice to the main character is a nice touch as well.

As the game should be honestly. At least from this point onward. ESPECIALLY if they keep treating the MSQ as a visual novel instead of the game that it is. Please keep doing this! I instantly subscribed lol.

I was thinking of doing this very thing but swapping the old American VOs with the newer British ones... then doing the opposite. Excited to see how it turned out.
Ohh man I wish I had a team... Everything would be so much faster.. Also if I could use Greek ( my native language) I could nail the voice act! Haha sadly my English are cringe 🤣😂

Ofc because it's TTS it has this "They could have tried better" vibe but it's clearly better than having Microsoft Sam read all the lines XD

There's a tool ingame called Artemis that allows for voices to play over unvoiced in-game dialogue. Anything you make here could be used over there to fully voice the game. Real voice acting or ai will all work. If you want to undertake such an endeavor, I'd be happy to help.
I have no problem to share my Audio files so that someone can add them to this Mod but i doubt if it could work since my files are extremely messed up 😂

I've always held out hope that they'll go back and slowly voice more of the important things, and even some side stuff that deserves it (sorrow of werlyt), But I know that will never happen.
This is actually pretty good though. The amount of time and work must be monumental.

As usual with AI, a lot of the voices are kind of flat, but it is still cool to hear a lot of these lines out loud. I'm curious how well it can mimic the voiced characters for the mountain of unvoiced scenes a lot of them have.

The random "What the fuck?'" made me chuckle. But I really liked it. If I am allowed to give feedback, I feel the lines were read so quickly, it was hard to keep up but that might be just me. I am the slow kind, lol
I need as much feedback as possible! Your opinion is more than welcome, and also I agree I did messed up a little bit with the pace , I went too fast because I didn't want to bore the audience with non cannon info.. I'll try to pace better the second episode!

I would at least prefer TTS. Reading is hard for me due to adhd. I could read but lose focus. thus taking twice as long completing a story, and when it takes so long I just lose interest.

I rarely comment on RUclips videos but I do like this. Only suggestion I can give is to perhaps to mute the in game SE cutscene voices to the non SE voice actors. It kinda took me for a surprise hearing the juxtaposition of the lalafelle lady suddenly changing voice actors. Overall really well put and the "What the F***." At Hydalin outright made me laugh. Hoping this project suceeds.
Yeah you are right about the voices, I might consider turn them all into ai to match for the full story.. The next episode has Thancred ai voice and its a lot different as well.. Haha about the wtf moment I though the story would be more engaging if the Mc had some character, I just wish you like how I develop her.. She is...quite something .. haha👊
after playing for 10 years this might be the time i will finially get to know the story

There is actually a voice plugin that is community sourced called Artemis Roleplaying Kit (ARK). Mods are naturally breaking TOS but it's become a QoL feature that I personally can't go without because it is immersive af to just have the voice lines actually play out as you read them.
