    1. I hope my tone is much less monotone, I worked on that
    2. If you see a sudden cutoff at the end, thank my editor for that, bullshit I can’t fix 😪

Naval is also the least developed and quite ignored by Gaijin. Im not opposed to naval, but Ive been playing World of Warships since 2013 and they are going to have to give naval a whole lot more love if they are going to convert me over....I'd rather just stick to WOWS for naval play and War Thunder for planes, tanks in WT only really took off when World of Tanks started to bomb and fall apart. Gaijin capitalized and developed the tanks out in correlation. I think Gaijin understands where thier bread is buttered, and invest in such, they know they cant compete with WOWS unless they put a ton of time, money and resources into it, and even then likely not to get the player base they expect because, most people are already playing and have been playing other games like WOWS for a decade. Not going to just throw away a decade of grinding on that game to play a handful top tier WW1 ships on War Thunder against bots....its not about what War Thunder has to offer, its about what it LACKS as far as naval goes. That's why no one plays.

I was going to address WOWS but forgot to, I’ll say my thoughts here
Yes World of WarShips is much more streamlined and attended to, why I personally prefer war thunders Naval over WOWS is the arcade vs the mostly, but not fully more realistic mode, what warthunder could do is make naval Sim and maybe revamp naval EC a fair bit, as well as purge the bots, would do a lot, and yes gaijin doesn’t care due to the smaller player count, part of why it needs fixing if they want it to take off.

I say make naval sim because it would possibly provide a more realistic mode than ever provided before, first person views of the crows nest, bridge and so on, a realistic damage system like if your gun gets taken out it takes longer to repair, harder to repair breaches and realistic fire dispersion times, I definitely agree the base realistic and arcade modes need attention, but sim naval would be epic imo

@ELX987 your talking lots of $$$ here...the kind of money that develops entire new games, and Gaijin are certainly no AAA company.

i like the combine combat mode concept u mention, but not with blue water ships and so coastal only. Bluewater will bring nightmare to ground unit even a reserve destroyer.

ive always liked air and naval. tank was ok for the beginning but they cant move well or much and it doesnt take much to kill em sometimes. fuck the planes in ground lol bluewater is awesome. like you said the length of fights and tact sometimes is engrossing and i love it. coastal. heh. once you learn some bob n weave action it gets competive and fun too

It's only good until your 4.0 destroyer meets SKR-7

Naval can be fun, but its the least worked on and slow game mode, also some things are just unfair.
