@@alekssandrz7694 No need to be insulting. I love Sicario & it's soundtrack cannot be outdone, but this edit was pretty good imo, & if you think otherwise, than just say you don't like it
I like 1:25 where the music gets intensified and it’s beautiful sync with the scene where they’re being escorted by mexican federal police, really adds the “you’re not safe anymore” vibe to it. Welcome to Juarez, the belly of the beast!
Is it just me or is there this universal meta link between Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve? Hans Zimmer, composer of Denis' upcoming adaptation of Dune, and former regular composer of Nolan; recommends Ludwig Gorannson to do his film Tenet and now here is a content creator using Tenet's soundtrack to enhance the suspense of a film also by Denis Villeneuve. Oh not to mention Hans Zimmer also worked with Denis on Blade Runner 2049. These four guys should collaborate together on a movie is my point, really.
If any of that can happen, only one man is worthy of being their DoP ... Sir. Roger Deakins ... The man is an utter genius behind the lens, with very rarely a wasted frame in any final edit. That saying the _only_ film of his I go out of my way to not watch is the Coen Brothers remake of the classic Ealing Studios 'The Ladykillers', as the original, with Sir. Alec Guinness doing a remarkable imitation of Alastair Sim, is just too irreplaceable. Other than that, the man's œuvre is just utterly remarkable ...
@@cinemalt24 well, imagine a sci fi movie by Denis, with a original script and concept planned by Nolan. and Ludwig and Hans as the composers, and cinematography by Roger Deakins obviously
No meta link. Hollywood tends to hire the same experts over and over again instead of hiring other and new talent, which is why everything sounds and feels similar these days. This video was made for fun
The editing with the music is impeccable and synced perfectly. Its as if both are meant to be. edit: I also loved how you edited the footage to fit with the song's focus too! I loved the fact you chose the long shot for the 1:50 song mark! EVERY EDIT FITS! Every amount of detail was well thought out too.. 2:16 when the melody(?) was added to show the ambience and setting of Mexico too was fitting!
Nice video. A week or so ago, while listening to the track, I realized that it seemed highly similar to "The Beast". Perhaps it's coincidence, perhaps it served as inspiration, or perhaps "The Beast" served as a temp. track during editing and Ludwig imitated it. I wouldn't be at all surprised (even though Nolan maintains that he avoids temp. scores).
TRUCKS IN PLACE - Ludwig Göransson (Reversed). It sounds like you’re either listening to a fire truck making sick beats or being in an inverted moshpit
Pretty well edited to make it fit into the scenes. But with an example like this its easy to realize how different these scenes now feel with a music intended for a differnt purpose.

the music in this video is way, way louder than in the movie ... plus a lot of percussion effects have been added ... it all adds up to an overwrought soundtrack that distracts from the deliberate subtleness in the original ...
While I still prefer the absence of music in this scene, this is a very nice edit. Good job.
Thank you!
Ngl but I watched the original scene and I prefer this one lol

My thoughts exactly! This music is too loud and rushed for this extraction scene. The score for Sicario is perfect already.
