I enjoyed this house. It gave off happy vibes and was very clean still. There was a lot of sunlight and views of the gardens in the yard from every window. It looked like old grape vines over the fence. I imagine them making their own wine, growing and canning vegetables. You could do a lot of cooking and seat many people in that huge kitchen! 😊
9:04 This kitchen gives such nice vibes. I just love it! It isn't completely closed off, so you have a cool panorama from the corridor, almost as if you are invited to take a sit in front of the L island and have a snack. Ethan is opening these cabinets, because even as they are emptied out, they still beg to treat him to a meal! This room is also full of light, which makes it all the more welcoming. Italians are bon vivant with a special love for their gastronomy, so I am sure the family spent some of their fondest memories there 😊
I wish you videoed the outside too & opened the doors. Beautiful home & property. I LOVED the retro flooring!! I really hope they salvaged stuff from the house before demolishing.
Hi Ethan you are my favourite explorer your love of homes of years long gone by is just brilliant and your respect for them even though they will be torn down let’s many know what a kind respectful young man you are Good luck with your future adventures I myself love everyone of them cheers Ethan from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Ethan, I can truly picture in my mind a Gigi in this home and the home itself gives off a very warm and welcoming, feeling and there were probably was a lot of family, gatherings and get together‘s in this home throughout the years a lot of life, love and memories built in this home anyways thank you for sharing you take care and be safe🫶🏻🤠
Thanks for posting this one - as mentioned in a previous post, it gave of welcoming vibes of many happy times spent in this house. It was a surprise to see an abandoned house so clean, and for a change, not trashed and vandalized by copper thieves. Sad to see it gone in the name of 'progress'.
A bit of a different house. That basement was a maze of rooms. I bet they did a lot of canning and preserves. Maybe even some wine making. Good find. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Ethan, Loving Your Videos, I really enjoy Your filming style, I appreciate it when you are able to share any history that you know about of the locations that you film. I discovered your channel through Carlo Paoloza (so?)
Same age as me lol. Such a shame and a really cool house - I can never get over how damn big the basements are lol. I would actually move into it and keep most parts the same - especially the kitchen! Love retro look so much.
The tree in the backyard in center is a olive tree. Hope they salvaged the chandelier and kitchen cabinets got donated as they are solid wood and in good condition and the stove removed and light fixtures too. The boxes of AZROCK TILE I THINK IS WHAT THE TWO BACK BEDROOMS HAD LAYED DOWN. MUST SAY HAD SOME STRANGE STORAGE AREA'S IN THE BASEMENT.
Cute house! Basement was kind of creepy in spots but would have made great extra living space if all finished. The cool floor tile in the kitchen grabbed my attention. Still so shiny after almost 50 years. I would still keep it today. Loved the chandelier in the living room! House is on the smaller side but five bedrooms! Did they raise a large family I wonder. Those bedroom floors were unique but again seemed in great shape. Great yard space. I would much rather live in a smaller home with large outdoor space than a huge home on a tiny lot where one could almost see into the neighbors windows from inside your house. So much could have still been done to restore this rather than destroy it. I think I’ll always prefer restoration vs demolition and think there are very few houses that can’t be saved. I’ve seen pictures/videos of literally shells of houses restored, even 300 yr old shells. It’s sad to me. That house so well maintained with the future of it in mind only to become rubble. Thanks Ethan for sharing this one. Take care, be well and always stay safe!
Man, what a totally weird layout this house has! It’s all narrow hallways that lead to small bedrooms then suddenly…bam! a huge oddly shaped room. The floor plan is kinda jarring and all over the place, but cool to see nonetheless. Thanks!
I usually don't say anything on your videos, I just watch and like but I'm asking you please get a better light, it would help when you're in dark areas of these places for us to see better.
Liked the house Ethan...big windows in living room 👌...Nice back yard ....I had those brown doors when I moved in my bungalow 😀..stay safe well and happy 💋
I think 🤔 of the lost boys with the garlic Ethan .thank you for taking all us with you on this house adventure.i love the backyard, the Willow trees are awsome
My favorite part of this one was probably the kitchen I would say, it was a nice size, and the old school cabinetry was in great shape, and gives a warm feeling to the space . The terrazzo floors were really nice! The yard with the vineyard type plants was cool, and I imagine a lot of cooking and canning and even wine making took place here most likely. ✌️
For how much storage in the basement upstairs was lacking. The kitchen/ diner was interesting ( the random l shape in middle was strange) interesting house xx
I liked this house!! (Except the basement....felt creepy 😳 to me) I liked the blue in the first bathroom. The cupboards and counters in the middle of the kitchen almost seemed as if it was added for more space. Great video!! Thank you for sharing Ethan 😊😊
So terrible to tear this down. The 1970's had the beautiful floor tiles that you can't get anymore. The designs on the floors; beautiful doors; real wood trim around. I wonder if the reason all these large home got abandoned is because they were too big to manage or pay for? I mean, "less is more" is really true. A smaller home would be better for us all, or medium sized.
I would love to have a house with all that space! Especially that kitchen! I have 1100 Sq. feet, no attic or basement. As you walked through this house, I was mentally re-decorating it in my "Lodge" look. LOL!
The hanging garlic is superstition- it keeps away evil. Very 70s home very cool. Shame it’s being torn down for probably a house that looks just like the ones next to it. Newer homes anymore are so boring. I love the older ones more

Good security Ethan. Making sure the front door was locked.

1977 seems like yesterday!
That front entry perhaps... prepping gardening, canned goods, wine laundry room, storage 😊 canning
I wouldn't mind living there 😊 with hard work cleaning 🧹🧼 , prepping, construction 🚧 home 🏡 TLC 😀🤗🌹 garden of plants and vegetables, fruit trees 😁
My favorite part was the kitchen I love it in it’s opening and spacey I like kitchen like that
I almost close my eyes when you open the closet doors! I hope you never find anything dead in there. I enjoy your house tours thank you for sharing.

I love Grandma's house the black and white bathroom is cool.
That Kitchen is Beautiful. I love how the Center Cabinets are off the floor and the light comes through underneath.
This whole house was designed regarding the preparation of food. People would been ready for anything.

This was awesome even though I’m older than the house 😂Thank you Ethan on showing these beautiful old houses before they are gone forever 🇦🇺💜🇮🇹
Italians love to cook and usually have big, full kitchens. Smart people.
Even with its 'hard' finishes, this home has a welcoming vibe. Totally, 'Grandma's' house!

Very C😮ol old home❤Thank you for sharing it with us.
You are my Favorite explorer...Stay Safe 💖
Who needs a basement that big? Looks like they moved out because of the mold on the basement walls that’s not safe to be breathing in.
Brooo...
Those creepy looking boots outside the bathroom near the end..😱😱 I almost jumped outta my skin..😂😂😂😂
Great video
First basement room: creepy massage/torture room.

think the beans were soy beans, pretty taisty and good for U. They must be roasted.
