I want to thank for for this video. I've been trying to root my Redmi Note 13 4G NFC by patching image on Magisk multiple times without luck, but this way finally worked. Thank you very much!
Unlock bootloader. Patch init_boot.img in Magisk (not boot.img). Flash in fastboot. Just rooted a Redmi Note 13 4G successfully. I can expand on that if anyone needs more.
@@EirFun There are a number of steps to follow, I recommend the guide on the Xiaomi Community website, search for 'complete guide to unlocking the bootloader' and it should be one of the first suggestions. Be aware it might take anywhere from two days to a month to be able to unlock. The most recent I unlocked a few days ago, a Note 13, was a two week wait. Before that a Note 12 last December was a three day wait. (these are family phones - I don't get through them that quick!)

I can tell you how i did it... Without custom recovery Step 1. Get a rom and extract the boot.img and init_boot.img Step 2. Open magisk and patch two files Step 3. Open up platform tools and put the phone in fastboot mode Step 4 copy the patched img to your pc and open adb and type ./adb fastboot flash boot (patched boot.img) and do the same process for the init_boot.img Step 5. Type in ./adb fastboot reboot Step 6. Check magisk and done

I can tell you how i did it... Without custom recovery
Step 1. Get a rom and extract the boot.img and init_boot.img
Step 2. Open magisk and patch two files
Step 3. Open up platform tools and put the phone in fastboot mode
Step 4 copy the patched img to your pc and open adb and type ./adb fastboot flash boot (patched boot.img) and do the same process for the init_boot.img
Step 5. Type in ./adb fastboot reboot
Step 6. Check magisk and done

@@ricardo_ache_ache boot.img and init_boot.img must be patched in magisk then flash it by using fastboot, only if you are using a fastboot ROM.
