Sorry, meant to post this to the big strain originally… 2013 gen 3 with 185k. First was pulling codes for spark plugs or coils. Changed the spark plugs, still got a rattle although not terrible. Also decided to clean the mass airflow sensor. All was better, still small rattle. Also decided to clean out the manifold and pipe that goes to the EGR…changed the PCV valve just because I was down there and it’s cheap. Now getting a code for a bad mass air pressure sensor, and now the rattle is terrible…like never before! So I’ll change that today and hopefully that will do the trick! Thanks for a great video!
@@iraqlov1 Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately had to cut my losses and traded the car in. I tried everything and it basically came down to being the gasket. I didn't want to spend the money on the new engine (or gasket replacement). Best of luck!
Should I preemptively replace my original fuel injectors and coil packs at 245,000 miles? What about the PCV valve, it's original too. Don't want to get stranded for a few bucks in parts that I can install myself. thx, great video.
I replaced the coils and plugs in mine and ran a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner through it and after about a week it smoothed out. I can sit in it now with the A/C running and when it switches to gas from electric no vibration. I have had it going on 4 years and it had that rattle the whole time so I know I did something right! Mine is a 2010.
I have a long commute and return to the office has me looking for a 2nd hand Prius. But Prius V has more room for the kids. Thanks for the video , fantastic job
My car is a 3 owner car 275000 miles. Neglected for its second owner. I would have come up with a laundry list of reasons the car is a terrible car in high school but here I am at 40 driving one, it’s a dandy little car not very exciting to drive but never gives up and is a really usable design . Mine has issues with increasingly worse oil consumption and that rattle that I’ve never been able to put a finger on. Good content man, I’ll subscribe and take a look at your stuff 👍 and maybe take a look at my injectors 👍
had this happen when I parked my car uphill one morning. I thought it was knocking and I cried. started it again and it worked fine lol. 271,000 miles, hoping to get anoother 30,000 before I have to rebuild
2014 Prius coolant poured into the cylinder. Toyota dealership got me a used 2015 engine installed with 65k miles. So far so good 50k additional miles later. What’s even more shocking is that I’m still running on the original battery.
Thank you so much Champion. I just did check the injectors and sure enough the o rings were missing or were torn. I did change the complete set of o rings and the rattling and misfire is gone now 100%. Before that I changed the ign coils and plugs and that didn't change very much the problem. Best
I read somewhere that you have to stock up on fuel injector cleaners if you own a Prius G2. Something about using more injector cleaners more often than other cars.
Ehhhhh. Best to just send it and pull them for service when they need it. Our local objects shop is like $80-100. You’ll spend exponentially more than that on cleaners that may not even work. And as you see it’s like 5 bolts
Eeek. That’s tough. NONE are even close to the original. There is a California verified one for like $4,000. Unless you live there, not worth it. Can you weld? I’d just keep doing $50 cats as needed. Or weld in a spacer - as long as it’s not illegal in your state. Please like and subscribe if you haven’t already :)
Hi my friend, congratulations for all your videos, my Prius is shaking brutally, when I am stationary trying to move forward and only electric engine is working the car is shaking like crazy, once the petrol engine is kicking in and take control over the transmission the shaking is stopping. Now this doesn’t happen every day sometimes only few days a month and stops the rest of the time is working like is supposed to do. I take it to the mechanic put the tester on it and nothing 0 errors. Please let me know if you have a clue what it can be! Thanks!
Gen 2 for the win🎉 speaking as someone who's prius is still kicking with over 400k miles. All other cars wish they were as dependable and long lasting 😂
not sure if you can help with me… so it does sound a little weird on cold startup but the bigger issue is right before the car is about to go idle and the engines shutting off at a red light or parking there’s a very harsh rattling back and forth before it shuts off. any ideas? thanks. 2008 prius
Checking out this video and was wondering if what I'm hearing is the same thing. It comes and goes if I leave the car running. The engine runs very rough when it makes the noise but comes and goes. Only 67k miles!
I had this death rattle after i was sitting in a parkin lot for a half hour or so with ac on. Wndine was basically idling non stop. I turn the car off and for some reaso first thing i did was checked oil level and after adding oil which i have in my trunk all the time the rattle stoped. I am getting those p3001,2,3,4 missfire does tho. Not sire wht to make of that. Changed spark plugs. Gonna clean a throttle body next. Will see how it goes. 460 000 km.
I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but I ordered Standard Motor Products injectors and they were the exact same ones that were in my friend’s 2007 Prius. The same color, markings, everything. The box also said Made In Japan. Just an FYI
My Prius 2Gen, 2008, 300k miles began missing and running rough. I purchased new plugs and rebuilt injectors. I replaced the plugs first. Plugs 1,3 and 4 were wore out and dry. Plug in cylinder two was covered in black oil. My local Toyota dealer suggested the motor is toast, likely no. 2 piston lost a ring. I have not installed the rebuilt injectors since it is tricky work. Is it woth a try to see if it is possibly related to injectors? Where do you find used motors? What is a fair price?
Actually, I have a video on changing injectors. It’s not bad at all! ruclips.net/video/WKr_O1t0h2Y/видео.htmlsi=yEgt_8uvQ1OqDvjM In one of the videos about misfires in these cars, I actually gave my opinion on what you are asking lol Loosely, I said “if you buy injectors, coil packs, etc., and end up finding out your motor is toast, the good news is these brand new parts will move over to your replacement engine“ I have a very good luck with genuine Toyota rebuilds from eBay. Probably 100 bucks for a set. Just make sure to get genuine Toyota gaskets and O-rings, the link for those, or at least the part number, should be in the description of the video. Please subscribe! I shoot a decent amount of Prius content, and most of what you are asking is already covered ;-)
Great video! Maybe you can help me. The engine to my 2007 Prius gen 2 once it comes on, runs continuously. Even when the car comes to a stop. The check engine light is on because of that. Every so often the problem goes away but always comes back. Aside from this problem the car runs fine.
Anyway I can send you a video of the sound of my vehicle. I already changed plugs and coils and now 4 bays are misfiring. I don’t think it’s head gasket because it doesn’t use coolant. It does burn oil though. It has 280,000 miles.
Why you should give to seat little while after replacing part? Why you give one day…and what do you mean when you say that? Like..after installing new spark plugs and coils, you just not turning on car one day?
Because the issue only happens when the car is once cold and hasn’t been started in while - so changing a part and not waiting could give a false result
My Pruis is a 2011. The first issue was the check engine light on and it made that rattling sound. It said cylinder 2 misfired. So that was fixed. But it is still making that sound. The coolant level had been dropping so I always keep extra in my car lol. Could it be the head gaskets ? 🚗
Thanks so much, this is super helpful. My 12v battery has been dying now (reads 13.7 while running) after this issue has persisted.. any connection there or just coincidence?
I believe that "plate" is called an Input Damper by Toyota. Like a Clutch+ kinda arrangement. I have a 2013 Auris (Corolla) hybrid and I am having it changed now. It's an engine-out job.
Hi Drew, any idea on why my 07 Prius throws a p2195 code after driving 3-5 miles at highways speeds above 65mph? Car engine will Start to blow black smoke, mpg drops to 15mpg… hv battery stops charging and car slowly rolls to a stop as the hv battery becomes depleted. I shut car down for 2minutes, car restarts, I allow hv battery to charge up for 5 minutes, and car now runs fine the rest of the trip. Only code set is p2195. Car runs fine at speeds below 60mph. Note… mpg in city is around 38mpg, and 50+mpg on 40mph+ drives… complete opposite of spec’d mpg… aftermarket upstream o2 is 3 months old. No codes thrown below 65mph. Thanks Frank
So I have a 2009 Toyota Prius and I already had switched the spark plugs in the car. But my concern is it idles pretty loud either when I’m stopped at red light or sometimes when I start it. It only seems to do it while running and it progressively gets louder.. I can’t figure out what it could be
My 07 has been doing this for 200k miles. I think overfilling the gas tank and ruining my charcoal canister fouled my injectors. Nice to hear they are easy to replace🎉
I am fairly certain that that is not possible, it would take a lot of pressure from the fuel pump and/or pressure in the fuel tank to cause an irregularity of fuel pressure at the injectors due to the regulator, on the contrary, a lack of pressure from the pump might do this, but you would have bigger issues than just a death rattle on morning start. It is likely one of the things covered in the video instead. Good luck, and please subscribe :-)
@@brose7956 my Prius sec gen 05 won’t take more than 2 gallons of gas why would this be . I am in need of a tune up and my Prius is running on inverted power mainly. Should I change my charcoal canister

Hi Drew, I have 2 and gen with 270,000 miles on it. Yesterday after driving about 7-10 miles on my way to work the car slowly shut down on me and lost power. I pulled over and put in park and waited a few minutes but could not get the car to shift back in to Drive. Had the Red triangle of death and all the other error lights came on also. The only code my cheap code reader would pull was P3193. After trying to disconnect and reconnect the 12 volt battery to see if the would help, it would turn on but still would only put it Park or Neutral, and then my gas gauge d showed empty. I swear I had already 1/4 tank or more gas. I got the 12 volt checked and it was dead. So got it fully recharged and reinstalled and still same issue. Today I will add gas to see if by some miracle that's the issue. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you
Yea me too. They can misfire long enough for these symptoms and never throw p0300 p0301 p0302 p0303 p0304. Until it gets reply bad. Ecu needs to see so many within so much time. This is not a bad misfire and it’s quickly over. Same with early gen3 head gasket Please like and subscribe if you haven’t already :)
I have 08 Prius with same noise but goes away with higher rpm’s. I’m getting multiple misfire and replaces plugs already. Not sure what is could be? Maybe fuel pump?
Do you know whether the VVT rattle is prevalent in Prius' 1NZ-FXE and 2ZR-FXE engines? I know it's an issue with a lot of the non-hybrid 2ZR-FE engines, and apparently less so with the 1NZ-FE as reports on it are sporadic (no news is good news I guess). I can't seem to find what years Toyota finally updated to the new VVT sprocket, seems to be pretty random across models with these engines. The good news is that it's a relatively easy/cheap repair, and the new sprocket should last the life of the engine. Totally worth doing if the engines still in good shape.
I’m having the same issue with my Prius! We found issues with the head gasket and a slightly bent piston. We are fixing the head gasket and putting new spark plugs in. Do you recommend I try to repair the block or get a new engine.
Get a complete engine from LKQ or similar. If there is damaged internals, it will never be right without proper repair. A new head gasket and plugs will not fix internal damage.
My prius accelerates by itself the revs rpm goes higher mostly when car is stopped at lights and lasts for about 5 seconds then goes back to normal, what could it be ?
Great video! I sometimes have the rattle noise, but my compression is awful. I give it gas, and hesitates to respond. It has no pick up, but no engine light on. Cleaned the MFS recently and that didn’t help. But since I don’t have a check engine light on, not sure what to do. Any ideas?
If it is a 04-09 2nd gen clean the throttle body, especially if you notice it on cold morning, they will stick until it breaks free then run fine the rest of the day.
Hi Drew! So I have a 2nd gen Prius 2008with a knocking noise. Not a morning rattle. It’s the ticking noise. Was wondering if you knew what that was? Thanks!
Hi! If it’s a fast tick it’s likely the valves. They become a bit more outspoken after 150/200,000. If it’s a slow knock, that’s way more serious and likely a rod bearing
My 2nd gen Prius has both quick ticks and slow knocks. Some where ticks when the engine under load, like go uphill. Somewhere slow knocks when the engine is cold; knocking sound gets weak when the car is driving on the highway for a while, especially with heavy throttle.
There is no fuel filter between the gas tank and engine on a 1997-usa2001-2015 Prius. There is a fuel sock in the gas tank, which can not be serviced. The gas tank is an assembly.
I'm also sure all Prius fuel filters are in the gas tank before the pump and are unserviceable. The fuel tanks are an assembly. When the pump goes bad, you have to buy the whole gas tank.
Great video thanks for all the suggestions only one thing that happened to me that I thought I had to replace the whole engine that you did not mention is bad gas from a reputable gas station, I pulled about 6 to 8 oz of water from the tank I had to drop the tank on my 2007 Prius, even found water lingering in the fuel rail while changing the injectors, for next time I found a way to bypass the fuel pump and just pump it straight from the tank using the fuel pump so I don't have to drop the tank next time, again thank you for the video
That’s terrible! I guess I didn’t mention that because it wouldn’t be the car’s fault lol but definitely terrible. There is a way to jump that pump and drain the tank, I have a buddy that does it all the time. Please subscribe
I have a 2013 Prius with 184,000 miles and took someones advice and used pure 87 octane gas rather than Ethanol and it did something that was very unusual after three fill ups I drove 350 miles round trip. I traveled at 60-65 MPH and when I filled up I made 54MPG which only occurred before at 50-55 MPH? So far I cannot find any problems other than new tires around 65-75,000 miles and changed spark plugs and break pads at 100,000 miles and I change out all of the fluids every 65,000 miles? For me this by far is the very best engineered car ever made that costs a lot less maintenance money than I have ever owned before?
Going through this and it's driving me nuts... First it came with heavy black smoke and misfires, carbon fouled plugs on all cylinders , the inexperienced mechanic said engine need to be rebuilt, after rebuilding, black smokes gone, but still misfires on startup.... especially when not too warmed up.... I've checked throttle body gasket , new pcv valve which truly improved but the misfires are still there... Had to use de fouler adaptor to reduce plug fouling .... Don't what to spend too much again to now realise engine can't be saved...
Hey Drew, I'm getting codes on my 2008 Prius with 196,000 miles for Crankshaft and Camshaft sensors. After replacing them It has seemed to help my battery drainage issue's when driving However, I'm still getting codes. Possible timing chain? Thought please!
I experience the same morning rattling frequently, along with a coolant dropping. Rattling started 2 year ago and only 5 times I heard noice. And top up coolant 500ml to 700ml last two years Although I reported this to Toyota, they were unable to identify any problems since the rattling did not occur when they inspected the vehicle.
Just a small advise. Never buy spark plugs online unless you are 100% its the correct one for your car. Bought spark plugs on eBay that seller advertised as compatible with my Prius but then the engine shakes when starting. Got 4 plugs at Autozone and problem solved. Same thing happen with my HHR SS.
About a year ago, my 2005 Prius with about 180,000, rattled alarmingly from the engine compartment when I was cruising down the highway and the engine wasn't working hard. Didn't have a clue where to start. I thought it was broken motor mounts but they were fine. For the heck of it I ran 2 bottles of Techron in my next 2 fill ups. The problem went away. Now I think I understand what was happening.
Did u changed the injectors now or any problem he mentioned? Looking forward to know cuz my friend is having the same issue but the rattling sound is not that crazy and it only comes up for a like 3 seconds then disappears during engine idle

Hey. Great video. Denso are oem plugs. Ngk aren’t bad but I wouldn’t use anything else. Also. Blown head gasket in a gen 3 is a death sentence but on gen 2 try 8 ounces of bg sealer. I’ve seen dealerships use it on these and it actually lasted
I swore the plugs were NGK, but Denso makes sense as well. As for it being a death sentence, it depends… Sadly by the time they get to Auction, it is a death sentence so I don’t buy them, but if I owned one, the moment it started using coolant, I would rip off the head, have hit machine for 150 bucks, get a nice thick head gasket like Fel-Pro, and slap it back together and enjoy another 150 thousand miles. The second generation are much more forgiving, they were not an open deck design. Same deal, once I found one starting to have a problem, I would get it machine and put it back together. I have a second generation sitting out back right now that is blowing bubbles in the coolant like a kid with a straw and a drink! The coolant is also jet black. No chance I am going risk selling that car with doing a head gasket. Going to buy a low mileage motor, throw it in, and let it be a blessing to the next person who owns it

That’s a tough question. A water pump might just last the length of the car. A failure on a second generation water pump would result in a leak, not a lack of flow… And a third generation, this is not necessarily the case, but on a second, it is just a regular old water pump

Really appreciate this video. There's a lot of good information crammed in it and presented in a logical manner. Thanks for making it. I subscribed.
Thanks! I have a v right now. Love those!

Epic explanation 👍
Pretty straightforward stuff, but I'm going to favorite this if I ever have an issue.

thumbs up for the really accurate "ratatatat" sound
love that band 🤣🤣
My car is a 3 owner car 275000 miles. Neglected for its second owner. I would have come up with a laundry list of reasons the car is a terrible car in high school but here I am at 40 driving one, it’s a dandy little car not very exciting to drive but never gives up and is a really usable design . Mine has issues with increasingly worse oil consumption and that rattle that I’ve never been able to put a finger on. Good content man, I’ll subscribe and take a look at your stuff 👍 and maybe take a look at my injectors 👍
Love the sound effects! Beautiful! 😂😂 Otherwise, great information bro! Thanks a lot!
had this happen when I parked my car uphill one morning.
With this rattle It also could be carbon blocking the EGR valve or the EGR manifold.
2nd gen Prius doesn't have an EGR valve
Thank you so much Champion. I just did check the injectors and sure enough the o rings were missing or were torn. I did change the complete set of o rings and the rattling and misfire is gone now 100%.
Before that I changed the ign coils and plugs and that didn't change very much the problem.
Best
Grest explanation.. thank you..
Thank you! Please subscribe if you haven’t already! More prius content coming!
Excellent video ! Thanks 🎉
Please recommend a good aftermarket catalylic converter for 2nd gen prius.
Drew i just came across your channel.
Great info
You helped steer me towards purchasing a Prius.
Thanks!
Amazing video. Thank you.
Gen 2 for the win🎉 speaking as someone who's prius is still kicking with over 400k miles. All other cars wish they were as dependable and long lasting 😂

You you are so cool bro
You talk fast and give so much information
Thanks
Do you know by any chance which year was best for Honda CRV ? Thanks
not sure if you can help with me… so it does sound a little weird on cold startup but the bigger issue is right before the car is about to go idle and the engines shutting off at a red light or parking there’s a very harsh rattling back and forth before it shuts off. any ideas? thanks. 2008 prius
I experienced it more than 5times on my way home today, i dont know why Toyota company made this kind of troublesome toyota pruis hybrid as a car?
Every machine has issues. The 2004-9 prius is one of the most reliable cars ever made but it’s still a machine. Read above
That sounds like it could be a motor mount issue. Check that huge one underneath the motor to the subsframe
And please subscribe :)
460 000 km.
If the external things like injected and plugs/packs etc don’t reveal the issue, it may be internal - rings, valves etc.
drew can ya tell us what code reader your using
I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but I ordered Standard Motor Products injectors and they were the exact same ones that were in my friend’s 2007 Prius. The same color, markings, everything. The box also said Made In Japan. Just an FYI
Would you recommend changing spark plugs after 100k on these second gens?
Absolutely! They’ll be fine for along time without it, but it’s good to do maintenance
Nicely covered.
Thank you!
It’s not bad at all! ruclips.net/video/WKr_O1t0h2Y/видео.htmlsi=yEgt_8uvQ1OqDvjM
In one of the videos about misfires in these cars, I actually gave my opinion on what you are asking lol
Loosely, I said “if you buy injectors, coil packs, etc., and end up finding out your motor is toast, the good news is these brand new parts will move over to your replacement engine“
I have a very good luck with genuine Toyota rebuilds from eBay.
…. The ONLY way to replicate this issue is to let the engine sit for a long time
My Pruis is a 2011. The first issue was the check engine light on and it made that rattling sound. It said cylinder 2 misfired. So that was fixed. But it is still making that sound. The coolant level had been dropping so I always keep extra in my car lol. Could it be the head gaskets ? 🚗
For sure - watch the video again and also the 3rd gen one
Thanks so much, this is super helpful. My 12v battery has been dying now (reads 13.7 while running) after this issue has persisted.. any connection there or just coincidence?
Why don't the misfires show at CEL? Doesn't the computer record at least a few of those misfires?
I believe that "plate" is called an Input Damper by Toyota. Like a Clutch+ kinda arrangement.
I have a 2013 Auris (Corolla) hybrid and I am having it changed now. It's an engine-out job.
It actually doesn’t clutch, it just allows a little actuation
2008 Toyota Prius Base, 240,000 miles. Zero issues since bought new. Engine smooth as silk. Do I need to change trans fluid, never been done?

Thanks

Helpful thanks
Totally true keep it up my friend. 😊
Unfortunately I’d guess it’s the tank bladder. They lose stretch with age. Mine was bad and did this for a few months but it got better with change in temperature
When you have this rattle sound did your prius have issues on charging?
Thank you
Thanks ! I have the 04 echo with 373k.
Thanks
I am surprised that the Computer did not pick it up and flashed the Instrument cluster with a code???
Yea me too. They can misfire long enough for these symptoms and never throw p0300 p0301 p0302 p0303 p0304. Until it gets reply bad. Ecu needs to see so many within so much time. This is not a bad misfire and it’s quickly over. Same with early gen3 head gasket

Hi Drew I do not know if you could help me with an 2006 prius which I drove through water and now it is not starting and giving me issue
I have 08 Prius with same noise but goes away with higher rpm’s. I’m getting multiple misfire and replaces plugs already. Not sure what is could be? Maybe fuel pump?
What was it
Wow drew you are very good explend so good thanks lot for you time good job
Do you know whether the VVT rattle is prevalent in Prius' 1NZ-FXE and 2ZR-FXE engines? I know it's an issue with a lot of the non-hybrid 2ZR-FE engines, and apparently less so with the 1NZ-FE as reports on it are sporadic (no news is good news I guess). I can't seem to find what years Toyota finally updated to the new VVT sprocket, seems to be pretty random across models with these engines.
The good news is that it's a relatively easy/cheap repair, and the new sprocket should last the life of the engine. Totally worth doing if the engines still in good shape.
have you avideo on replacing a furel pump and filter on a gen 2 prius
I do not in sorry. I do think it’s part of the tank and not replaceable but I’m not sure I just think I remember reading that
I’m having the same issue with my Prius!
Original spark plugs for gen 2 Prius are Denso SK16R11
my car is 2007 Prius already 200000 mileage sill original battery, engine spark plug and radiator still running good
Bought one today. 2007 w $12.5k price. 57k miles. One owner. No accidents. Good deal?
I bought my 07 in full original and it’s a great car.
@@ramonariner7893depends on how u feel about I got a 08 brand new battery 200k miles for 1500
Great video! I sometimes have the rattle noise, but my compression is awful. I give it gas, and hesitates to respond. It has no pick up, but no engine light on. Cleaned the MFS recently and that didn’t help. But since I don’t have a check engine light on, not sure what to do. Any ideas?
Maybe the EGR ?
The Gen2 has no EGR valve
My MFD screen went dead.. do you know where to order a working one online?? Thx!
Mine gets very loud on the highway. I found going into a right turn, the noise is less. But much louder going into a left turn.
Might be wheel bearings.
Ahhhh yikes that sucks ! Did you check all the other things in the video? Injectors? Coil packs?
Which kind of coolant goes in the yellow coolant container on the right side? Mine is low.
The inverter one? Toyota pink :) please like and subscribe if you haven’t already :)

Thanks for reminding us it’s still a Toyota 4 cylinder 🤙🤙🤙
Wow, you ran 2 years like this?
101,000 miles and mine did this for the first time yesterday....😢
Yea injectors are overlooked in so, so many issues but they make themselves more obvious in these cars. Glad to help :)
Did u changed the injectors now or any problem he mentioned? Looking forward to know cuz my friend is having the same issue but the rattling sound is not that crazy and it only comes up for a like 3 seconds then disappears during engine idle
It's probably the fuel leaking back into the tank too. I got mine after sitting for 3 days.
Where’s there a good source for a new motor?
RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT! HAHA. Love it! Great info. Thank you! You're very knowledgeable.

Now if I could figure out why does mine burn oil so much
Sadly that’s probably just an age thing, yes, in the 90s we had a batch of cars that seems to never wear out but those days are gone haha
I’m with you. I go through a quart every 1,000 miles. Ten quarts from Costco, a rag and funnel live on the floor behind my seat.
@@brose7956 I forget which page in the manual, but believe it or not, it says right in there that this car can burn up to a quart every 600 miles! Mind blowing. That’s over 8 quarts during the length of a typical oil change. And that’s the owners manual, for when the car was a New! I tell everyone of our customers they must check their oil. I usually put a couple hundred miles on a car here and there, but for the most part, I make sure that they run perfect, clean them up, and sell them
Going to buy a low mileage motor, throw it in, and let it be a blessing to the next person who owns it
@@DrewGarage My wife and I own two 2008 Priuses, and I've changed the spark plugs on both of them in the past. In both cases the original plugs were Denso's. These are such great cars, and actually quite easy to work on.
@@rc4211 I wish I could edit lol I was torn between ngk and denso. Either way, LOVE these cars and will be selling them for a long time because there are a ton in Japan in excellent shape with low miles, we just have to wait for them to turn 25 years old. That’ll be right around the time it becomes difficult to find them here in the United States in decent condition. My connections in Japan will make it easy to bring over three or four at a time. I just hope the average American buyer doesn’t mind right hand drive lol
when that sound comes up my 2008 pruis goes off on the way ,and is dangerous because they are cars behind me, pls what do I do? I don't know if this sound occurs to ur car while driving and puts ur car off as its happening to mine
If it happens when you’re driving that’s a bit more serious. Watch the video a few times over it explains virtually every reason it could happen
Mine was rattling and I turned it off and on again and it stopped
Sadly cars usually don’t do something just once unless it was bad gas

Ccan replacing water pump 100k miles avoid head gasket problem?
That’s a tough question. A water pump might just last the length of the car. A failure on a second generation water pump would result in a leak, not a lack of flow… And a third generation, this is not necessarily the case, but on a second, it is just a regular old water pump
