- Chef Jason Peru takes Curry Corn to the next level by taking some inspiration from oil down and incorporating some ingredients like pigtail and dasheen bush to create a "souped up" version of curried corn.

Hear nah! I made this ..... can I say scrumptious and absolutely amazing! Every last morsel was eaten! I made my dumplings from whole wheat flour, I did colour it with turmeric ! Wonderful ! I really enjoy and wholeheartedly support this channel! Chef Jason Peru kudos to you !

I made this dish minus the pigtail and dumplings and replaced it with breadfruit, it was absolutely divine
Jason, I must say you have this local cooking recipes real boss. Things like carapoolay, methee, tamarind...that's real boss ingredients. I know a lot of the newer generation doesn't have an idea what they are. But this is very commendable.

For me lesve out the split peas powder, must add cornmeal or cassava it will naturally thicken the curry sauce

Them dumplings remind me of gnocchi. I love the breaking of traditional style of making the corn but it's not too far where people would think it crazy.

You can omit the meat entirely. I made it twice without the meat and replaced it with yellow breadruit. It was absolutely divine
