Thank you I have never had a toe ball assembly So I don't know what size toe ball I need for towing a lawn mower trailer or a small r v trailer

This is a great video and how I wish all videos were done. Covered every step quickly with good shots of how to do each step - even the measuring so you can see exactly where the ends are (top side of the top or bottom side of the top? it's a 1/4 inch difference). First time I'm buying a trailer hitch and I feel confident now - I'll look for your product.

Great points..... My experience for proper measurement; First, make sure truck/trailer are on a fairly level surface. My experience for proper measurement; The trailer needs to be hooked up first with it being empty. Why? Because, the trucks suspension "will" drop down with the weight on it. Now. take your measurement of the truck receiver tube to ground. Unhook the trailer > level > Measure bottom of couple to ground. Do the math..... This is more important with heavier trailers and especiallty enclosed cargo trailers. With a light boat/trailer combo as shown in the video, all of this may not matter due to hardly any tongue weight. The goal is to have your trailer level or "slightly highter" to allow for cargo. This is not a put down of this video, you did a great job with a lot of great points. As I mentioned, this has been my experience. 😊

What about after you load the back of the truck and you load the boat, that likely changes those measurements?

Simulate the load. Or load the bed and get the measurements then, select your hitch accordingly

The part that is under the bumper ( the female), is it built into the car or you can also install it in the car?

What if the height of the hitch is only 5/8” greater than the coupler height? What size drop or rise would i need?

Such ball and tongue sets such as those manufactured by Reese, do not have a hole on the bottom of the ball for a cottor pin. AND the extra lock nut is unnecessary because it doesn't get tight enough. Luckily U-haul brand stuck to their guns and kept the cottor pin design and saved a lot of accidents.

podrías escribir las medidas de la lengua dónde se coloca la bola de remolque... ancho.. largo y espesor además del orificio del tornillo..

I like the idea of a cotter pin below the ball nut as i watched a video of a guys trailer coming lose and in the end the nut came off and the ball popped out

Hate the short insertion of the ball mounts. Loose fits and leads me to make my own.

Using a level to determine trailer height is not a good idea. You want the trailer parallel. The easiest way is to simply measure the height of the trailer frame at the axle. Alternately, measure the frame to the extremes of fore and aft, and adjust the jack until these measurements are the same. (I work on ships where levels are completely useless.)
