If this episode really proves anything about dick it's that he acted a lot like Damien when he was younger or Damian acted like dick's more violent self when he was younger.
People forget that, Grayson was written way more violent and grumpy than he is now (like peter parker) And that Jason actually used to be too much of a sweetheart nice guy when he was a robin (in fact any time they say he was the violent robin, that's a retcon)
@@ianr.navahuber2195 This is not true actually. You can look up, Jason once killed someone as Robin (Filippe Garzonas, which is not a retcon, it happened in the 80's), and killed somone before he became Robin (he pushed down the stairs his mother's dealer). He almost killed a pimp for hitting one of his prostitutes too (this happened way before Jason was killed off). Robin Jason actually had some pretty violent moments which were not retcons. Grayson being violent and grumpy is the retcon. He didn't wanted to kill Zucco for ex, but since New52 (where everyone was more dark and edgy) people believe that Dick went out to kill his parent's murderer (in the comics he just wanted to put Zucco behind bars). People forget but Dick Grayson was a very campy, humorous comic releaf character initially (till the 60's)
When they said, that young Dick was baned from fighting Poison Ivy after some incident, i was not expecting something this adorable. And i think, so does the writers. 😏
Pamela: He's so precious and I'd rather you deal with that. That plant will eventually eat him and I'm not into child death. Batman: Yeah I got it. Pamela (whispering): I did like the pun.
There was a Batman TAS episode where ivy pretended to be a mother and assuming the events of that episode happened in this universe, I think Ivy relates. Sometimes you gotta put pause to scold your kid.
I thought it would be sexual like al ot of other commentators here, but you know what, good job on the original artist for not taking the easy route/joke there, no low hanging fruit here.
It was a giant red rose, why wouldn't he poke it?! Also I did some math and I think Dick Grayson is mid 20s because he became Robin at 8, so he's like way younger than I thought he was.
I was expecting it to be robin going through puberty and getting… distracted by Pamela, and given her old personality she would definitely have tried to abuse his bergioning sexuality to do alto of not ph stuff
@@redrasegardenI beg to differ. At 12 (12?!?) Damian’s face when saying “I would, actually” and Dick as Robin 🥺. So precious and adorable!

There's a difference between fighting a grown man in a bat suit, and fighting a kid wearing spandex

I feel like enough of Dick’s puns would’ve been able to defeat her😂😂😂
Baby Dick Grayson is the cutest thing ever

This is just adorable and funny. Lol Pamela wondering why Robin ( Dick Grayson) was letting his curiosity get the best of him
