    • @raizt1596
      @raizt1596 Год назад +2

      I'd love to see him on a Xtrainer as well. The smaller frame really gives it a nimble feel and it's the same engine as the 300rr, but you have to change the pipe and adjust the power valve. He'd also need to redo the suspension on the Xtrainer.

    • @nbcevilduck
      @nbcevilduck Год назад

      RaizT1 at the speeds he rides, the trials like suspension might be just what the doctor ordered.
      Even without any adjustment, just the rr pipe unleashes enough low end to power out from 0mph in 3rd. The stock pipe is an anemic cost saving initiative that should be replaced at all cost.

    I demoed all of the 2023 Beta lineup back in January and my favorite was the 300 race edition. Could not believe how much more luggable it was compared to the 300rr and even the x-trainer. The suspension was excellent too. The xtrainer was my second favorite and I even managed to pull off the course and do a few pivot turns it’s a total play bike so confidence inspiring. But for an overall versatile bike I really want a 300 race edition.

They are all fantastic in my opinion (I'm an average rider). I'd be happy with any of them. But yes, I must admit my mates Beta is so cool, I never like swapping it back. Cheers

    I'm considering the 390, but don't ride technical hard enduro very often, getting old for that and not much of that in Florida. I have a Spanish GasGas GP300 for any techinical riding, fun bike, climbs great with IRC tires. I ride mostly Florida sand, some mountain single track or jeep roads, dual sport events. I'm 58 years old and feel the 4 stroke is easier to ride and more planted with less effort, better for an older guy. I would like to see you test this bike out. I'm considering ordering a 2024 race for the KYB suspension. Glad to hear you think the new KYB's are softer

    Rich, love your videos. PLEASE test the Beta 350 and 390! I do not ride knarly stuff like you do, just the typical trails with a few roots, a few rocks, and of course, some jumps and hill climbs. I switched to 4 strokes years ago, and every time I throw a leg over a 2T and ride, it just feels antique, but I know it is the best tool for the job you ask of your bikes and that many guys prefer them. Our local Moto trials club held an AHRMA event. I was a checker. There were mostly Japanese trials bike from the 70’s and early 80’s. A few newer bikes doing old style rules.
    There was a nicely restored BSA 441. A BSA in original condition that was previously owned by Dick Mann. And an Ariel 500 in original condition. I think the owner said 1955.
    The owner of the bike offered to let me ride it, but I had checker commitments to the section. But I did get to twist the throttle. OMG was that motor smooth. No vibration or sound change until I backed off the throttle. A 27 pound flywheel helps. And it ran so smooth and slow.
    I guess back then you where happy with 300 pounds, 3 inches of primitive suspension and questionable brakes.

    Rich, a handful of friends and I would love to see you review bikes for young riders at that phase between a 125cc four-stroke trail bike and a full size bike. You have inspired myself and so many many of us, sharing your knowledge and expertise has helped to get friends and I so hooked that all of our kids are riding now. There are kids outgrowing the 125 four strokes that have gotten so smooth, always on the pegs, and solid basics. Problem is at 11-12 years old they just aren't big enough for a full size bike and the next size up trail bikes are way way too heavy. What do you think about a lowered Beta 200 v X-Trainer, lowered Sherco 125, older KTM 200 XC? Are super minis ok for tight Oregon woods riding? I am leaning toward a lowered Beta 200 for my 12 year old son. Your opinion would be much appreciated.

    Need a advice. I have a lot of experience with 4-Stroke Enduro bikes. Very like it, especially Engine Braking feature. But 2-Strokes also interest me. My problem that I've tried only YZ250X and I hate it, but probably because it more dirtbike, not enduro (I also not really enjoy 4-Stroke Dirtbikes).
    My question is: which 2-Stroke Enduro should I try for giving it a second chance or maybe even change my mind and fall in love with 2-Strokes?

    Would love to see your opinion on the 250 race edition. Seems like they have become the forgotten middle child.

    @IRCTireUSAMoto can you share more details about your midvalve settings that you are changing to get rid of that "topping out" feeling? I have the exact same year make and I am having that very issue. I have had to slow down the rebound to lessen that feeling but its still there.

    I’d like to see you test a 24 xcw/te/ec. I tried a 300 rr race just recently and really thought the 250 rr was the better bike. No accounting for taste….

    You should definitely try one of the new ktm/husky 300s because of tbi, as for beta I've heard nothing but praise for the 200, Jonny Walker bought one himself
