Im having a problem. Every time i record it records but when i look at the video file the video is like frozen ive tried a lot of things but it keeps freezing.
I seem to have strange sounds when i listen to the vid I made, they make the audio sound glitchy...

I can't re-size the window properly. It just makes it so whenever I try to increase height or lenght, the whole thing starts getting larger and can't be adjusted to fit into the window the way it should leaving black area around the window. Help?

Right click ur obs screen with the game play go to transform and go to fit to screen

when i start recording is say the configured output path is invalid how do i fix that
Try changing the destination where you are recording to. For example, try changing the destination to your desktop and see what happens.

I know this video was 2 years ago but i just got to say... THANK U SO MUCH!!! I have been having problems with bandicam for soooooooooooooooo long! THIS IS AMAZING. Yeah setting it up was kind of tricky but since i got that out of the way recording is so easy! I would totally recommend this ***** (that was meant to be 5 stars).

I had the same problem.. seems there are actually two OBS softwares.. make sure you have not installet the TRASH called Streamlabs OBS

Ashydoodles make sure the fps of your game is the same as your game capture fps

Why is my obs gameplay super laggy?
I think you need a stronger pc or laptop i have the same problem
Actual 101 no i dont think so i have Nvidia GTG 1080TI and really good precessor i dont remember what processor and my vids are super laggy too btw i built my pc for 3.5k euros
i believe obs is only good for streaming not screen recording so u get the free version of fraps or i spring free cam or ice cream free cam or xsplit broadcaster or monosnap it depends really on what u use monosnap is pretty good if ur selecting a certain area on screen the i recommend fraps now all i need to figure out is a
free video editor
i got hitfilm express but its not that good tho ,i want something like a movie maker cause all i need is to get mp4 format and cut ,speed up video,text and some other simple tools with a quick render time with no watermark
its better to get a simpler screen recorder cause it will be less of a lag when u record gameplay fraps and monosnap is pretty good for that

THANK YOU SO MUCH i stupidly used an editing software that gave me a free trial to edit one of my videos so when i exported it it had a massive watermark covering the majority of the screen and ive been using different screen recorders for the past 4 hours trying to record the preview video and i finally got the video recorded with no watermarks or interruptions THANK YOU again xoxoxoxoxox
