What a fantastic rifle! Thanks brother for sharing your experience with the 177cal. Its my personal favorite caliber. I appreciate the simplicity of the transfer port adjustment. I have an avenger 177 at 30 yards I am shooting a 1 inch even in a light wind. This thing is unbelievable. I do have a Donnie FL barrel extender but it is a 177. This thing is unreal for less money no adjustments out of the box. This thing is untouchable with some of my other rifles.
I have Seneca 177 that is quite accurate not like the avenger, but way Less expensive plus I don’t need a compressor but also less expensive a good gun
Although the velocity spread does not show significant impact on accuracy with this gun but what do you suggest to make it's built-in regulator shoot at more consistent speeds
Haha i just switched my 25 to the 177. Originally tried the 13’s and they shot around 950. On low 840. I then tried the 10’s and on low they shot right at 890. Looks like im staying with the 10’s on low and i dont have to touch my HS or reg. I found setting my reg about 100 psi higher than i want works out great. When firing at a moderate speed the reg doesn’t have a chance to fill. Along with creep (1st shot higher FPS), shooting at a moderate speed the reg is not reaching my desired psi, and causing ES to be higher. So if i want 2100, i set it to 2200. This also keeps FPS where i want it and ES lower. If that makes any sense? Haha

I’m a pellet pusher 177avenger i think it’s amazing 1inch at 30 yards out ov the box holy cows Donny fl barell extension wow night and day

I think the scope might have something to do with it, but I slept a scope on my avenger, and at 30 yards dead on less than 1 inch

Has anyone shot slugs out of a stock gen 1 Avenger in 25 cal ?? If so what slugs and how did they do ??
Anyone running 177 slugs what diameter are you running? Noticed with the 177’s they run larger. 22 cal they run smaller why is that?

Did your shot count increase on low power?
I did not test that. But it has with all the other guns that I’ve tested with transfer port restrictors.
