Thanks to its beautiful new roads, the tropical resort is located only 40 minutes from Dipolog City airport & less than 20 minutes from Dapitan City. It is a beautiful drive between tropical mountains (check it out on our driving tour video).

Dakak Park and Beach Resort is the closest place to paradise one could ever experience, with its beauty and serenity. Dakak started operating on 1988, was conveniently positioned in the southern part of the Philippines and surrounded by mountains in its west. Situated at Taguilon, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, Dakak tactfully eludes the typhoon belt, making it an ideal all-season destination for travelers. Dakak is the first five-star resort in Mindanao with "AAA" accreditation from the Department of Tourism, located along a private 750 meter white sand beach.

Even with its isolation, you will never get bored at Dakak, there are plenty of water activities such as Jet Ski, Banana Boat rides, Snorkelling, Island hopping and more! Within the resort there is also an Adventure Park, with the worlds second Longest zipline, Horse riding, world class golf court & quad bike riding. There is also free shuttles to Gloria Fantasy Lands amusement park. Also near to Aliguay Island.

Through the years, Dakak received various recognition locally and internationally among which are the Kalakbay Award for Resort on 1989 from the Philippine Department of Tourism; 16th International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry on 1991 from the Trade Leaders Club and Editorial Office Madrid, Spain; a certificate of excellence by the Prestigious Resorts of the World on 1992; and has participated in the Dream Incentive Contest theme for the Philippines that has won the "Best Showcase 1997" in the Incentive Travel and Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) last December 1997. Hi there!
There’s direct flights from Manila Ninoy Aquino airport to Dipolog airport. There’s usually 2 flights per day by Cebu Pacific and Philippine airlines. It’s only a 1hr40min flight.
From Dipolog airport, it is just a around 30min drive to Dapitan (where Dakak and Villa Angelina is located). You can book a pickup from Dakak
There is also a ferry option from Manila-Dapitan & Dipolog
A few more helpful tips:
There is a hotel right next to Dipolog airport, it is just a 1 minute walk from the airport! (right outside the airport gate). Here is a full 4K tour of it ruclips.net/video/AETSoZ9yTBY/видео.html

There is plenty of activities to do in both Dipolog and Dapitan such as Linabo peak (Dipolog) and Dakak owns a theme park called 'fantasyland' in Dapitan (they can provide transport to fantasyland from Dakak).
Final note is that Villa Angelina Luxury suites is part of Dakak resort, so if you book with Villa Angelina you still have access to Dakaks amenities such as the beach, pools and restaurants...but Villa Angelina has better rooms, private beach and pool.
