Kim Lucas you can tell he is old fashioned. If he moves in her house, it won’t really feel like his home. Especially if she shared that home with Gabe her ex-husband. Von would be uncomfortable living in another man’s space. But she will feel the same way moving in his house too. They should have discussed which state they both want to live together in. Do Von have a job or business he can’t leave right away? This is very important that they establish where they will call home. It’s better if they sell their homes and buy one together. So they can decorate and build it together. Maybe give her boys a grace period since Gabe recently died and they need a sense of normalcy for several months? Living separately is not a real marriage, there needs to be a compromise.
@@christian_person5058 and you're correct!! Ijs I agree with his answer bc some guys nowadays older or younger dont think that way! Some just look at it as a place to lay their head and nothing more! So I'm just saying it's nice to hear him answer that question the way he did!

I completely agree with him...there is no way she should be trying to force him to move in and they are not married. He seems to be very traditional....she should respect that because it seems like that’s one of the things that she fell in love with about him. Also, she has to keep in mind that she has two grown men as sons that are watching this...she should want them to learn the proper way..

Von is old fashioned and that’s what I love about him. Anyone who thinks this man is odd or off doesn’t know or have a man that was raised to be a REAL man. He loves this woman so much that he wants to do everything the right way with her. He doesn’t want to rush or intrude in on her family. He’s trying to build something with her and take his time.
He's a man with good old fashion values. A man who believes in being a provider isn't going to feel comfortable moving into a women's house.

It’s interesting that he said that he would be okay with her moving into his house but not him moving into her house. My mom always told me as a woman to have my own. She’s always discouraged me to move in with somebody because if for whatever reason they kick me out she wouldn’t want me out on my behind. So 🤷🏾♀️ I feel the same way as him but I wouldn’t move into someone’s home IF I’m capable of holding my own.

Bernice Shed if they are getting married, they should sell both houses and buy one together! That solves the problem of living in “someone else’s home”.

Only_ martinalynn actually the house Trina and Gabe shared while married was sold once they filed for divorce. She had to move and get her own place. But I do agree with starting new. I would want to say this is OUR home we bought together :)

Trina, Baby Girl, Listen to what he is saying. You are too concerned about him paying half of the mortgage. He has seen your boys loyalty to you and he doesn't want to come into your house disrupting the current status. You are still in grief from the man who was home with your sons, while you were doing your thing. Give yourself more time, so that you figure this out together.

I completely understand what he's saying. She has children and that may cause problems. Also, it's sometimes frowned upon by people when the man moves in with the woman because they believed he's taking advantage of the situation. I understand his hesitancy.

Carly Henton - Not living together at least for a few weeks prior to marriage is sort of like not testing driving a car before you buy it. Staying over a few days out the week is nothing like actually living together to determine if you “really” want to commit to this person in a monogamous relationship.
