    This is the truth. I made it a point to spend everyday this past weekend in nature by myself and let me tell you everyday random people would come up to me and spark conversations and I was just giving out with myself. I felt so whole and pure.

    I used to believe in a soul mate, looking for love in places it didnt exist and had to work hard to even be thought of as serious. I've learned i am ok now at 37 and loving myself, giving myself the love nobody has, and having peace and learning i am no less or worthless just being alone.

    Every time I get involved with a man I get badly hurt emotionally by them. I'm single and prefer it than being hurt all the time and used. Tera you are on point and so right. Why do we need a man in 2023? ❤❤

    I’m learning to de-center romantic love. I’m in a relationship now but I’m having SO many deep revelations about life and love. I’m realizing it’s not the end of the world to not have that kind of fairytale love. It’s what we’re conditioned to crave, especially as women. I just wanna BE love. Be close to the Entity that is GOD (who is the essence of true love). This awakening is beautiful and I’m so excited to continue to learn myself and be whole for the first time.
    I don’t have to seek for love outside of myself because I’m full of all the love I crave

    Me neither sis! Focus on living your life and enjoying your family/friends and things that bring you joy. If a worthy partner materializes organically, then great! If not, that's fine too! There's still such a ridiculous stigma around people (esp women) being single, when there is nothing at all wrong with it. De-centering relationships will be the best thing you ever do! Saves a TON of frustration!!

      @@sbusisiweshaba1715Sex is NOT natural. If it were, everyone would like it and be doing it. There are millions of people who are asexual. As for financial security, that is up to you as an ADULT to ensure for yourself. Companionship with like minded and positive people is wonderful, but too many people don't like themselves, so seek companionship as a way too escape their own reality. I know people who can never be alone, so they hop from relationship to relationship without ceasing. It is really sad. 😢

    • @Childfree334
      @Childfree334 Год назад +5

      I have worked as a pediatric nurse for more than 20 years. When I tell you the number of women who have confessed their regret to me at becoming mothers, I tell you no lie. These women are often suicidal because they had children for all the wrong reasons:
      1) Wanting to fit in
      2) Fear of loneliness
      3) Societal, religious, cultural, or family pressure
      4) Many had babies because they got pregnant and were guilted into carrying through with the pregnancy
      I take care of so many abused and neglected children. I am retiring at the end of 2023 because I can no longer take the mental and emotional trauma that caring for these kids has caused me. I am ever so thankful I never had my own kids. This life is not a gift and this world is no place for what would be MY children. So please think long and hard before you have kids because that is an irreversible decision. People don't think before they decide to breed, especially about if they might have a sick or special needs child.
      Sit down, really think, and write out a list of pros and cons to having kids. My cons list was much longer, so no kids for me. I'm happy with my extended family, friends, and dogs.

    When hardships have passed, it’s time to heal. Part of the healing process is solitude. It frees you up to take mental/personal inventory of your circumstances and your feelings about them. But, solitude is PART of the process. It doesn’t have to be the destination. So if Chantelle wants to take this time to focus on herself, more power to her. She should keep doing that for as long as she needs to. However, if at some point solitude starts to feel constricting, I hope she knows she doesn’t need to stay the course. It is part of the process and those feelings would be her inner self saying she was good and it was time to move on. Don’t listen to what others have to say about your choices. Don’t even listen to what you have to say/have said about them. Do listen to how you feel. Do pay attention to what you’re getting from your current situation. These things always seem to be the “true north.” ✌️

    • @USN23
      @USN23 Год назад

      Well if a person has a solid support system (family/friends) than solitude can be fine, but I feel you because solitude definitely can take a toll on the mind. I'm an only child that didn't have the support system when it came time to grieve and it became anger. . .solitude in nature is the only thing that really could soothe my soul!

    Personally, I believe in finding the right one, but I don’t believe in fairy tales. Believing in fairytales is what gets a lot of men and women in trouble when it won’t be like that when you meet the right person for you. A pastor I listen to by the name of Jerry flowers Always mentions how Disney lied to us lol. There will be struggles, but you just have to work through them, and I’m all about fighting for healthy relationships, because it won’t be easy, but it’s worth it. And it’s also ok for those of you here to not want a relationship, so please don’t be cynical towards my opinion.

    • @Childfree334
      @Childfree334 Год назад +6

      See, this is what she is talking about. Why should a relationship have to be FAUGHT for? Why does a relationship have to be HARD? You know why? Because people are going into relationships with 2 different agendas. People are getting onto relationships because they are in LUST.
      People who actually communicate, people who actually listen, people who look past the exterior, people who are really looking for a genuine connection don't have hard relationships. I have encountered only 2 such marriages in my entire life. There marriages are not hard. They are full of love and joy.

      @@Childfree334 I’ve never been married, but I listened to this older couple once on RUclips and the husband was 103 and the wife was 100 and someone asked them what their secret was to staying married so long and they both said “just talk to each other” they got on each other’s nerve lol but they worked through their issues. No marriage is going to be perfect, but yes anything worth having you will have to fight for it, and work through issues. You will not meet one married couple that will tell you it’s easy all of the time. This is why they say marriage is not for the faint of heart so if you have a give up type spirit on you then yes boo marriage will most certainly not be for you! Cause you can’t just up and quit when the going get tough! If you function that way, then stay out of relationships and just stay single. Period.
