I lean left but I’m ok with a republican in office if I know he/she is knowledgeable, honest, loves our country, and truly cares for ALL Americans equally. We don’t have that right now sadly

the venue is a vocational high school's auto shop space, not a regular auto shop. the lockers are likely blocked as a legal precaution as any identifying info that might be visible on them (names, stickers, whatever) would belong to minors. asked my grandfather about the odd lift and hood situation since he taught there back in the 70s, and he said it's not uncommon to leave a car like that when it's being used as a visual guide and not being actively worked on so instructors just have to raise or lower the lift between classes and not reset the hood as well. didn't have an answer for the key light, though, unless the teacher left it like that when they left for the day deliberately because they needed a dead battery for a class and letting the one sitting in that car die was for some reason more fiscally sensible with their budget and purchasing restrictions than just swinging by a junk yard and getting an old dead battery.
(filming it here was still a deliberate choice that looks even weirder to locals since there's a community college like 5 miles up the road from that school that houses the local public access studio worked mostly by broadcast students and a pretty decent auditorium for their theater department, but the car being staged the way it is and an effort being made to conceal the lockers both make sense IF you're going to film something in the auto shop of a high school)

as a person that came from a lower income family and had to WORK HARD to become a mid-class family (not a high 6 figures) I don't see this a Right or Left issue, it is a people issue. Until we stop letting the Right and Left using us as a bargaining chip for a vote. We need to demand real solutions for all American, not the few. And instead of taking advantage of the ice melting to look for more fossil fuels, we need to make sure the environment up there stays safe. We need to make sure that the animals that call the arctic their home don't pass away and go extinct. We need to make sure the water doesn't rise or there will be major cities that could have trillions of dollars worth of damage because of the ocean rising. We need to take care of the tribes that call the ice their home. It's not all about us. It's about all living creatures on this Earth because we all have a part to do and unfortunately the one species that causes the most damage on this earth and the creatures on it is the only one that has the intellectual ability and technology to reverse this and save so many things (I get it's expensive but it's either money or life and if we're all gone there's going to be no one left to even use the money). And as for bullets ripping through the schools, since 2003 there have been 300 school shootings in america. Now some even target schools full of small children and no progress has been made to help this problem and I don't know how many more children or people have to die before we can do something about it. I get there's always a chance of it happening but not to this extent. There's just 300 more schools full of children that will never have the chance to grow up to be something great. Imagine being a mom and having to worry about that. College is getting very expensive, many people not being able to afford a higher level of education and that could lead to a great downfall in this country. There's so many things that could be fixed if we all just put our minds together and tried like REAL Americans do. This country is so torn apart it's sicking and the lack of care for other humans, living creatures, is outrageous. We need to take better care of each other, this planet, our sanity. The world is changing and those who don't see all of it, only what they want to see, are holding us back. And he addressed all these problems that impact the lives of millions of people in a short amount of time. Trump didn't address any of this. Trump listed some important topics but how are we going to solve them? It's time to look through the eyes of Americans and not the eyes of the torn apart republicans or democrats. We're all human no matter our race, religion, sexual preference, or anything in between. It's time to start treating each other as so. So many people are suffering and we're just pushing them aside. I don't understand why people are saying that what Joe Kennedy is saying is false. First of all, this whole country couldn't have even begun without immigrants. Everyone in this country is an immigrant unless you are Native American and that's facts. I wish this country wasn't so torn apart because the Americans here in the beginning and those who continued to come into the country worked so damn hard building it and making it thrive. This is a big country and I know it's hard to unite 300 million people but we have to try because the worst thing we can do is turn on each other. It's not about Democrats or Republicans. This country has issues that we need to work together on as AMERICANS, okay? This country has so much pride in itself and its flag but the people in it are constantly bashing on each other and fighting and going around in this circle of who's right isn't going to make the country progress. We've seen working together when it's come to all the natural disasters we've had and that's amazing. Forgetting what political side, race, religion people are for a moment to come together and help them in times of need. And that's not just being american. That's being human. And as for the environment, that it a rising issue whether or not people want to believe it. Methane is being released from the ice as it melts which is very flammable and one of the worst green house gases, the earth is continuing to heat up. And instead of taking advantage of the ice melting to look for more fossil fuels, we need to make sure the environment up there stays safe. We need to make sure that the animals that call the arctic their home don't pass away and go extinct. We need to make sure the water doesn't rise or there will be major cities that could have trillions of dollars worth of damage because of the ocean rising. We need to take care of the tribes that call the ice their home. It's not all about us. It's about all living creatures on this Earth because we all have a part to do and unfortunately the one species that causes the most damage on this earth and the creatures on it is the only one that has the intellectual ability and technology to reverse this and save so many things (I get it's expensive but it's either money or life and if we're all gone there's going to be no one left to even use the money). And as for bullets ripping through the schools, since 2003 there have been 300 school shootings in america. Now some even target schools full of small children and no progress has been made to help this problem and I don't know how many more children or people have to die before we can do something about it. I get there's always a chance of it happening but not to this extent. There's just 300 more schools full of children that will never have the chance to grow up to be something great. Imagine being a mom and having to worry about that. College is getting very expensive, many people not being able to afford a higher level of education and that could lead to a great downfall in this country. There's so many things that could be fixed if we all just put our minds together and tried like REAL Americans do. This country is so torn apart it's sicking and the lack of care for other humans, living creatures, is outrageous. We need to take better care of each other, this planet, our sanity. The world is changing and those who don't see all of it, only what they want to see, are holding us back. And he addressed all these problems that impact the lives of millions of people in a short amount of time. Trump didn't address any of this. Trump listed some important topics but how are we going to solve them? It's time to look through the eyes of Americans and not the eyes of the torn apart republicans or democrats. We're all human no matter our race, religion, sexual preference, or anything in between. It's time to start treating each other as so. So many people are suffering and we're just pushing them aside. And I'm not bashing trump or anything. You can blame me for whatever you want, call me whatever you desire or label me to whatever you think is insulting like being a liberal because political insults are the best yay. Since when was caring about the earth and people a bad thing? Get over yourselves. You all are so exhausting and leaving the future generations with such a mess. But if you disagree with me I suggest researching, expanding your view outside of america and politics, and really see what's going on and see that's it's bigger than you. And I only talked about the things Trump didn't that matter so don't come yelling at me telling me that there's so many other problems with gangs and wars. Yeah okay but what about this stuff that wasn't addressed? IF you want talk about that other stuff go watch Trumps speech. I'm not talking about it again. If you don't agree to even a tiny amount of what I'm saying, I'm sorry but you're not being a true american or human for that matter and you're part of the problem. We've come so far already. Don't reverse us now. Let's protect each other. This long text is just coming from someone who actually has some compassion for everyone and everything and doesn't jump straight to insults or politics. And maybe the cost of what it will take to reverse some of the damage we've done is illogical. Or maybe it isn't. We'll never know unless we can stop acting like children for two minutes and care about each other. Is that so much to ask?
