He doesn't let pressure bother him at all. Very calm. Darnold, Goff, Baker and others made mistakes and lost. Lamar, CJ, Stafford lost. He looked really good. Hope he keeps it up. 😊 Jayden is very thin. He needs to not take lots of hits.
Yet im pretty sure he says Caleb's line is bad. They're about equal tbh, washington's is probably worse in run blocking right now, but slightly better in pass blocking. The issue is jayden is that good that it slows the rush down

I keep seeing people use CJ Stroud as some kind of indicator that Jayden is going to go through the same thing in Year 2. Everything CJ Stroud is going through in Year 2 is what Jayden is already going through in Year 1. Daniels already has a subpar offensive line. Jayden Daniels already has an inconsistent running game that he can't lean on. Jayden Daniels already has an average defense. This is the worst Commanders roster that he's going to play on and he still has them in the NFC championship game. Washington has 100 million in cap space to build around this kid. He's going to get even better when he has the weapons.
His work ethic paying off. You marry that with talent and this is what you get. He’s only going to get better. Wait until he nails down pre snap reads like the greats. He’s already shown flashes of it.
Washington was not the worst situation at all. Patriots and Bears were worse situations. For the Bears, coaching and o-line, talented receivers don’t matter if they can’t get open. Patriots horrible o-line and absolutely no talent. Washington has great coaching, a middle of the pack o-line and good enough talent on offense. Jayden wouldn’t have taken the Bears to the playoffs and I actually don’t think you’re a Bears fan.

Sam Howell was turning the ball over like crazy but the offense was actually putting up a lot of yards and Howell was even tops in the league as far as passing yards. He just turned the ball over at a high clip, which killed them.

That Eagles oline should be MVP on the league. They never allow Hurts to be pressured and they give an all-time great RB in Saquon truck sized holes to run though. That oline is what makes that team go.

Jayden Daniels is awesome. Has quick decision-making, Always making the right throw. With the right touch, deep ball accuracy, And the calmness behind it. As long as he stays healthy Washington has a chance of the Super Bowl every year. Just like Shady said he’s already a top five quarterback in just his first year. I’m a packers fan just wishing we had this kid.

@ there is no excuses for fumbles and turnovers I love Goff but you throw a pick 7 and you throw a bad interception right before the half that cost you points and remember he was not on the field for that Jamison Touchdown run. So Goff scored 24 points had 3 interceptions and a fumble which gave Washington 4 extra possessions you can’t blame a defense that’s banged up completely for 4 extra possessions and a pick 6 . That’s impossible for a Bad defense already to come back from

Slim reaper, the boy is flat out awesome and like a lot football fans I saw him play at LSU and he was incredible but to think it would translate to the NFL this fast is absolutely mind blowing. All Dan Quinn has to do is beef up the O line and protect this man and the commanders will be seeing the playoffs and super bowl quite often.

They'd better fix that before Stroud gets hurt. I watched that game as well as the one they had with the Chargers and it was evident that the O-line needs to be rebuilt Stroud can be successful.
I never seen Dan Marino rookie year but in 1987 I saw him play and I became a Fan the next day I went to the Library and got a Stat book from 1978 to 1985 sports book with all sports stats I read it in 1 day and wanted to see Ty Cobb 4 years triple leader in Baseball...crazy....🏈🏅⚾️

As a commanders fan, Saquon should definitely be MVP. Guy seems to be almost unstoppable. Commanders and Eagles is gonna be the most exciting game for the next 5 yeats at least
Agree it’s going to be awesome to see 2 NFC Heavyweights go head to head for the third and deciding battle. Trust me, ALL Eagles fans have more than respect for the Commanders, we know what they can do. I think they play a nigh perfect game against the Lions and the law of averages says that teams in their position….lose when they get to this position, going to an away field and winning. The closest scenerio that comes close to what Commanders have done is the Bengles in 2021 going to Nashville and knocking out the Titens and then going to Kansas City and beating Mahomes in the championship. Washington is scary AF, history favors the Eagles in this matchup but that’s why they play the games. Go Birds!!!
Jayden Daniels remains calm in the moments; he doesnt get rattled or try to play hero ball. Commanders dont have a great WR core, running game is decent, good but not great defense. but they have an elite qb who can win them games when they need it.
Shady said the same thing about Stroud last year. Let's see how he does in year 2 folks. But right now, that kid is playing the game with the ease of a proven vet.

Jayden Daniels is a very good QB, but I also think that CJ Stroud was very impressive as a NFL rookie QB too. The Eagles and The Chiefs easily look like the two best teams in the NFL right now so we'll see what Jayden can do against that Eagles defense.

There's small things that don't show up on stats that he's done all season like converting 3rd and longs. He turned a 4th and 11 into a 30 yrd run, there's not too many qbs that's going to do that. He looks off the secondary, his ball placement is incredible and he stays in the pocket knowing he's going to take a hit. His intangibles are off the charts. He was calling no huddle the first game of the season as a rookie. You can tell hes extremely dedicated to his craft. I like we ( the Commanders) got Michael Jordan.

I keep seeing people use CJ Stroud as some kind of indicator that Jayden is going to go through the same thing in Year 2. Everything CJ Stroud is going through in Year 2 is what Jayden is already going through in Year 1. Daniels already has a subpar offensive line. Jayden Daniels already has an inconsistent running game that he can't lean on. Jayden Daniels already has an average defense. This is the worst Commanders roster that he's going to play on and he still has them in the NFC championship game. Washington has 100 million in cap space to build around this kid. He's going to get even better when he has the weapons.

Washington was not the worst situation at all. Patriots and Bears were worse situations. For the Bears, coaching and o-line, talented receivers don’t matter if they can’t get open. Patriots horrible o-line and absolutely no talent. Washington has great coaching, a middle of the pack o-line and good enough talent on offense. Sam Howell was turning the ball over like crazy but the offense was actually putting up a lot of yards and Howell was even tops in the league as far as passing yards. He just turned the ball over at a high clip, which killed them.

So Goff scored 24 points had 3 interceptions and a fumble which gave Washington 4 extra possessions you can’t blame a defense that’s banged up completely for 4 extra possessions and a pick 6 . I watched that game as well as the one they had with the Chargers and it was evident that the O-line needs to be rebuilt Stroud can be successful.

I think they play a nigh perfect game against the Lions and the law of averages says that teams in their position….lose when they get to this position, going to an away field and winning.
The closest scenerio that comes close to what Commanders have done is the Bengles in 2021 going to Nashville and knocking out the Titens and then going to Kansas City and beating Mahomes in the championship.

Jayden Daniels remains calm in the moments; he doesnt get rattled or try to play hero ball. Commanders dont have a great WR core, running game is decent, good but not great defense. but they have an elite qb who can win them games when they need it.

I told u 12 months ago that h was the #1 guy at QB in the draft. The Bears could have has him and his OC. They passed on both.
There's small things that don't show up on stats that he's done all season like converting 3rd and longs. He turned a 4th and 11 into a 30 yrd run, there's not too many qbs that's going to do that. He looks off the secondary, his ball placement is incredible and he stays in the pocket knowing he's going to take a hit. His intangibles are off the charts. He was calling no huddle the first game of the season as a rookie. You can tell hes extremely dedicated to his craft. I like we ( the Commanders) got Michael Jordan.
