Hey brother great video. Will you ever be uploading regular gameplay? Just start to finish matches - I’d love to watch and see how to become a better player. They don’t even need to have commentary (although preferable!) I feel there aren’t many strong PvP players making that sort of content at the moment and you would do a great job at it. It would be a huge compliment to your guides and help us learn how to play the game modes, flanking routes, get objectives and stop dying every 10 seconds!!
@@myqii2567 I really appreciate the love & feedback! I think you may be right, it won't hurt to atleast give it a go and see what happens. You may just be pleasantly surprised by my next upload!
All gameplay issues aside which I agree with your assessment of I also think they missed an opportunity to include Chaos customisation here. I tend to get picked as a Chaos player a lot more than an imperial one so even though it doesn't affect gameplay it is annoying only being able to repaint my chaos marines and not customise their armour in any way. I also think a simple thing like that would add a bit to the replayability of the mode because people could be what they want all the time. I seem to recall Space Marine 1 had unlock options for both factions so it's a bit of a disappointment here 2 doesn't have it but it might get added in later.
Dude, fuck rank mode. My only real gripe with this mode is that the matchmaking sucks if you go up against a team that works together, the teams never switch and you have to keep playing with random who just run and gun.
For me, the most pressing issue they really need to solve is connectivity. The amount of insanely laggy matches I get (despite the game showing my pin as 20-30) is insane.
@@breedingpitmetal It's peer to peer, so often times everyone BUT one player will be lagging. There are general latency issues aswell though, getting shot by the Heavy Bolter (or automatic weapons in general) whilst trying to dive into cover is almost impossible at times.
@@breedingpitmetal Yeah, absolutely! The game is actually officially stated on the FAQ as having dedicated servers. But upon actually playing Eternal War, we can very quickly see that isn't the case. It sucks and I've no idea if it'll ever be addressed.
We can rely on new PvE content to atleast bring new and old players back for brief periods of time. If they give Eternal war enough attention along the way it could really help sustain a decent playerbase. It's still very early days, we will have a much better idea once the next few months have passed.
I love your videos man but i have to disagree with you pretty hard here. Randomized lobbies and sbmm have ruined the online experience and community that games during the golden era of platform multiplayer were all about. This game has been a breath of fresh air and i dont want to see it become what they've done to most of our beloved ips. I believe adding a ranked/competive playlist that implements sbmm would be a fair compromise.
Thanks for the love and feedback. I appreciate your points, my main reasoning comes from being on the other side of the issue. Me and Deviss have played roughly 80 games within the last 10 days or so and we've lost about 5, due to our team consistently sticking around and the enemy team disbanding inside and outside of games. Roughly half of those games were won with ease. Its fair that the game is still relatively new, but it can't have been fun for any of the players on the opposite team. Ranked seems fair, I've no idea what the numbers are though so who knows if it would take away from casual numebrs too much.

I hate to be a comment parrot, but in this situation i pretty much agree with you on all of these points.
No ranked lobbies please fuck that, just add a global leaderboard for PVE & PVP and add more maps / weapons
I will say that I love your content and you are my go to for information on this game. Thanks for all that you do.

It's depressing how little effort they're putting into pvp considering the potential it has. Like at this rate, it will die within a few months.
