We rode on opening day, the day after media day! And you are right.... when you first walk out you are speechless! Disney really changed the face of entertainment forever! This is definitely not just a ride, it is a fully immersive experience. Excellent video Molly!

This land is officially home to the two best rides in Hollywood Studios. My advice, make this the first ride of the day and go on it a second time if the lines short enough. Afterwards, run over to the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and ride that as many times as you can until the line gets too long. After that, do whatever pleases you.
Molly it was worth it for the Ronto wrap. Can’t wait to have one in January. A splurge for me since my life style change has led to a 325 # weight loss in the last 2 years. Forgot to try the wrap back in October

The other transports in the first room are supposed to moving and making sound but they were just staying there doing nothing until your droid on the transport started making sound. There was a first audio they were supposed to do but they did not. at 12:46 . But I guess your transport was still talking to the other droids.
I also watched another persons view of this ride and someone made the comment in the background, "There's a queue when you go to jail...who knew"? * I enjoyed your view much more. Your comments made it much more interesting. Thanks!
Like whoa! The hanger and the stormtroopers...freaking out...I skipped through most of the ride part because I want to be surprised in February. Are you going to do a video to help us battle crowds with this one especially with all the other DHS craziness? Gold sunnies on point as always! Thanks Molly!

That looks absolutely incredible, I can't wait to ride it! One question though, do these trackless cars spin, or is it just them changing direction, because I can't do spinning things it knocks my balance for 10 and then I have to sit still for a while, so that is my only concern. Step by step process like do you keep refreshing the app or just open the app one minute before they open the park, do you use just your data, WiFi, or both. Can you bribe someone to just let you ride it, joke but seriously.
How does this ride work regarding lines? I heard something about having to be there early and that they only take a certain amt of people per day? Is this temporary? Will it eventually be like other rides where there will be a standby line with regular wait time? Thanks

AllEars Molly, we were in line by 5:10 yesterday morning. Crowds really huge on MLK Day. Loved the rope drop procession where the huge crowd is guided two by two into a snaking line which ultimately ushers you all into the line for Millennium Falcon (after allowing time at 7 am for everyone to do their "lottery" for the RotR ride queue. We were #57 and got in around 1:00 pm.) Great way for so many seeing the world for the first time, and it was brilliant crowd control!

I don’t think a big enough deal was made about how the transport is on a turntable and you actually enter and exit the same door

Does this ride have a seat belt. Will at large riders have a problem.
Looks amazing, I'm a little upset I won't ever be able to ride it though. Motion simulators give me panic attacks :(

They are animated, they all move a little bit. That room in theory you should not be in very long so you should "not" notice it :)
