    I need to get one of theirs. Their podcast is excellent too.

    Yes, Tony the Ant's ideal daily use. Nice patina. Getting one possibly in natural, see how it ages

      I like their Tall Tony- has a slightly deeper bill slot, that way it’s easier to get the bills in without them being exposed. But you might not be as particular about that as I.

      I have one in natural for about a year now. Think of a slightly dark caramel lol It looks fantastic! Highly recommend Ashland Leather

    What kinds of pants do you wear with these? I know Phil wears jeans and he’s had indigo influence the patina a bit. I wonder how raw cotton jeans and sweatpants affect these things.

      I wear raw denim with them quite a bit. With the reverse shell on the Herbie, you can see blue crocking around the edges (eventually turns black). In the shell Tony, it mainly just darkened the surface gradually without introducing blue tones.

    How long did it take you to break your tony the ant in?

    • @thevintagefuture6567
      @thevintagefuture6567  4 месяца назад +1

      I’m not sure….the shell takes about 3 months to break in I would guess

      Yeah I misspoke, sorry. They do hand stitch some of their wallets but not these. I’ll pin a correction in the comments. Thanks!

      Ashland is machine stitched. They need to get away from shell interiors. Shell rubbing against shell destroys the leather and looks very poor. They should only have reverse interiors or veg-tan but Never shell.

      @@davidrenegar5181 My Herbie is reverse on the inside and it's also rubbing against each other.
      So you get dark grey-ish smudges around the edges of the card slots from the Horween stamps.
      I guess it doesn't look as roughed up as outside shell though.
