One thing to add about the swingarm/motor pivot is that the belt tension will stay absolutely the same when the rear wheel goes up and down on the rear shock. That is huge because the belt should last a very long time since it won't be getting shocked with low to high tensions at any time.
I was born and raised in Fort Erie. I have tons of experience riding in cold weather. The LiveWire ONE does not have any performance issues running down in the 30s. I have not ridden it below freezing. However, there is no heat coming off the motor and for reasons I don't fully understand, running a heated vest off of the battery is not recommended and may void the warrantee.
What does it matter....I can't get one. LiveWire has No Idea of when or If I could ever get one as of 7/23/23. But of course they want me to put up cash to even get an order in. I'm Out.

How is your livewire doing in the cold and do you have any problems driving livewire through the cold?

Not true, Volvo has over the air updates. So do other car manufacturers. For an urbane commuter I’d go with the BMW CE 04.
Harley Davidson still owns 74 percent of LiveWire.
LiveWire stock closed at $7.44 today. I'd call it a buying opportunity.
