Unveiling Sora: OpenAI's Groundbreaking Text-to-Video Model video examples

Sora changes everything. Here some of our main take aways from this new text-to-video model from OpenAI:
🗿 This new AI video model make the previous tools we were using (and pushing to their limits) kinda obsolete.
🫵 Who wins the most? Independent artists, individuals, small production companies, small studios - now they have a competitive edge agains big studios and their gatekeepers
🏴 This model draws a big line in the ground (before and after Sora) that's clear. Yes it's scary, but I'm more excited than scared.
🥊 This launch raises (a lot) the bar for all other competitors on this already burning market, including Google, Midjourney, TikTok, Stable Difusion, Runway, Leonardo, Pika and others - curious to see which features they gonna drop after this, and how they will be seen...
🍿 AI films won't replace Hollywood, but will definitely transform it! We will be able to create high quality and realistic films, with just a few bucks, without the need to hire actors, travel, have fancy equipments. This is good for society. This is good for History.
🎬 When individuals become a whole production studio, there will be an explosion of content being produced (mostly by independent artists) and this is beautiful. People now have tools to tell their stories. New forms of content consumption and distribution will arise (that's one of the reasons I created @zero1cine in 2023)
✏️ Creativity is still more important than ever! Storytelling too. Your background and experiences too. Your personal story too. Your unique view of the world too.
🌳 I believe no one wants to live in a world where "normal" films don't exist, in the same way I don't want to live in a world where Paintings, Photography, and Theater don't exist. The artificial will never totally replace the Natural (go out and touch some grass son)
🤖 #OpenAI is definitely not a perfect company (does that even exist?) But after GPT and now #SORA they have all my respect. They are not disrupting, they are drastically transforming history, culture and society. They have my respect.
🪞 We are approaching the era where the line between whats real and what's not is blurry, and not clear anymore. Prepare yourself. New ways of organise and flag contents will arise quickly.
🕞 If we can already generate videos like this with a single prompt, what comes next? Will we create 3d realistic environment with actors with their own personalities that we can direct just using just our voices? (this idea came from Uncanny_Harry)
