Keeping this team together and on point is a huge accomplishment. Day is only 45. Brought in great coaches. Players love him. Coaches and AD have his back. The guy will be a CF HOF coach. Easily if he wins a natty. (Unless he bails to NFL in the next couple of years). Can’t keep laying eggs vs scUM. But I’m guessing a natty would eliminate his need to prove anything and just coach to win the game by any means.

If yours and Kris' conversation is true? Then Ryan should do the Pete Thammel and quit. By the standard you guys discussed he will never be accepted by the fan base. This culture, players, and team are his. 6 years as a head coach only. Man we are spoiled and he should go, if that is how our fan base feels. Sad good coach, good man, and better leader. When did winning at a 87% clip is not enough? Oh yeah we act like he can't change...he has every year since becoming head coach.
