safety note- do NOT pour water on a stove top fire. If there is grease on the stove, the water instantly evaporates spreading the oil and causing a much bigger fire to spread instantly. the Rasputin assassination thing is actually crazy then how rusty described my understanding was that he was invited by a noble to have dinner, they poised his food and wine bro tanked it like a champ woke up in the basement (they thought the poison would be enough) he attempted to escape the residence and then he was shot up a bunch still didn't die right away so for good measure they wrapped him up in cloth and threw him in the water, after all that supposedly his cause of death was drowning. So all the crazy crap that rusty mentioned literally happened in one night/morning after there were several other attempts on his life that all went almost comically wrong thus why they went thru such great lengths to make sure they finished the job this time
