The white laces look great on these, makes the shoe "pop" a little more.
They’re supposed to be worn with white laces. It’s how jordan wore them and how the original 85’s were laced up in the old catalog. I don’t know why jordan brand decided to photograph them with black laces for the stock photos. Same thing with the chicagos that just dropped, they should have been photographed with the black laces not white.
The hang tag is literally the Jumpman logo. Jordan did a photo shoot in that hang tag and all he did was jump in the air, spread his legs, and the photographer took that photo. Then that silhouette’s outline was used for the Jumpman.

I’ve seen pretty much all of the latest videos and bought the a ma Maniere 4s and the union ajko leather for this month resell pairs. I must’ve missed it but i haven’t found a review of those union ajko, maybe you don’t like ‘em, or whatever. What i need to say is that you definitely earned the subscription because your Sneaker review videos are shorter and better than most of them out there. I'll try to score them tomorrow! Man I wanted these in 1985, but being in 7th grade...no job & money. Didn't happen, lol. I already had the "Banned" AJ1 (which kills me today I didn't keep, I guess these ended up in the trash...they were beat to death anyway, but what I know now that I didnt know then...damn! ). Did have high white/metallic blue in 8th grade though. My younger brother had the black-Royal blue.
Still have my 1994 Banned "Bred" I bought...wanting that original AJ almost 30 years ago, still in pretty good shape since I barely wore them! My 21 year old feet felt a lot different in AJs in 94 compared to my smaller 85 feet I guess.

I got the Air Jordan 1 "Stage Haze" & they look the same as these " Panda" when I look down on em but preferably they got that grey suede on the heel.

These are a must cop for me, I’m just in-between trying my luck on the 15th or buying them from GOAT since the price has been going down steadily for the past two weeks. I just don’t know if they’ll shoot up in price after they drop or not. Any advice?
they’ll prolly drop even lower after the drop. the only pairs on goat are backdoored so i imagine after the release the market will be even more saturated

@@christianvazquez3893 tbh for an 85 release these are already low. they’re the cheapest of the other 85s and they haven’t even officially dropped yet so yea i’d say that it’s partially due to jordan 1s just not selling anymore

shoe boys nowadays really just overhype anything. "85" cut, "OG" were the reason why MJ found the AJ1 uncomfortable to wear and hence Nike had to re-design them. but somehow these flaws have become a selling point now lmao
I have a question,I own a pair of air forces and they are extremely unsuitable for walking long distances.
I don't have a pair of AJ1s,so how suitable and comfortable are they for walking considerable distances over a day and so should I buy them?
They are not comfy for long distances unless you break them in, put good insoles and get used to them

@Kagiso creasing is normal as long you walk in them, actually I preferred them creased..gives it a vintage look😂

Such a beautiful simple shoe. I’m not a fan of regular dunks because of the awful materials but you can’t go wrong with a black and white shoe and with it being an 85 it just adds a lil spice 🤌 If I don’t hit for retail I’ll be paying resell for sure
