- The Baby moose have taken a liking to my daughter's pool. We have since taken the pool down for the safety of my children and dogs because they kept coming back. And we did find a few holes in it from the little ones but hopefully they will patch nicely and we can set it up again.:) Enjoy!!

It wasn't a sprinkler, she was spraying them to get rid of them....

move to newfoundland canada if you want that lol. its normal to wake up in the morning and see a moose in the back yard. its all good until a bear decides to show up lol

That's so gorgeous! Understandable to pull it down, especially with that type & no proper filter, not to mention the extent of the hole you'd get if they continued using it constantly, but so sweet that you let them have a few plays. The yard looks like a great kids pay space, I guess Mumma moose thought the same

No, bears need hammocks! Momma moose here just needs a nice grasslawn - doesn't have to be that big - to lay down and observe her kids from a distance. However, in that instance, a cat should be added.
See, all of us animals are the same, all babies are the same, in that we feel, we play, we love and the rest. We all should respect and love animals.

That was so cool, that is the closest behaviour I've seen to what I witnessed three adult males doing to my neighbour's cars during rutting season.

Water is not any use as a moose repellent. They like water--a lot. They will happily swim across lakes to get to the other side, instead of walking around it. They will stand in the water to graze on water plants, and shoreside plants.
The water also helps quell the hordes of biting insects (black flies, mosquitoes, etc) that inhabit most wooded areas.
Give that moose a paddle board!
Beautiful But deadly , see how little moose learning to stomp the floatie , That's what big moose will do to you , So always be careful around moose .

Reality chick thanks for the input. I do have a heart and these moose came back several times before we decided to take steps and remove the pool temporarily. Unfortunately I do not have yard big enough to place another pool far enough for the safety of my children and dogs. We didn't decide to remove it until the mother came to the pool when my kids were less than 5' from her eating lunch and my dogs were outside. As cute as it was, It could have ended very badly so instead of putting the lives of my children, dogs or eventually the moose in danger. I decided what any mother and nature loving person would do and remove the temptation. Also we live less than a half a mile from a large lake so I was not removing their only source of water and fun!
thank you for your answer-- ''have a heart'' was a saying that we use ((with a smile)) on people who don't really realize how important our wilds are.. but you do-- I truly apologise for the ''heart'' of course I see you have a good and wise one'' children first by all means and mother mooses can be dangerous with their young ones around people... and then--- there is the lake... and I luved the video-- it was very heartfelt kind of you to share-- PLEASE - do more.. us City folk have not the luxury of this.. and it is beautiful...
