Steve, I love the way you are always prepared and get right to the procedure but are unfailingly friendly too. These turned out really lovely and time effective.
I'm a grower of stuff and I can tell you that putting mirrors only reflects the light from a single point, like a death ray. It doesn't scatter it. This is why we paint the walls white instead of lining them with mirrors.
My UV light came with a mirrored 'base plate' and it seems to inhibit the cure. Placing my molds on a gloss-glazed white ceramic tile works really well.
The ones with the bezels look like stained glass. They are really pretty. The free-form method looks fun, too.

Good grief....took me 5 minutes to figure out you were talking about DAMMING TAPE, not DAMNING TAPE. But I often yell when trying to work with tape...DAMN TAPE !!! Love the idea of colored resin...THANKS !!!

With the tape, if you turn over one of the corners, you can use that to prevent your finger from getting stuck. 🙂

One tape trick I learned is to get two strips of packing tape (I cut one strip lengthwise) ready, unroll a little bit of the UV resin tape over your mat, tape down one end, unroll and cut the rest, and tape that end down. That way, the tape stays in place, you're not brushing the sticky part of the tape (too much) with your gloves, and it stays flush with the mat.
I love all of it I would have never thought about the mirror part excellent idea. Hope your move went well & all settled 😊

Oh I do like those pendants you made! Those resins are such bright and bold colours and putting them in pendants like that is a brilliant way to use them. That tip of using a mirror was a good one. I think those earrings suited you! God bless, have a great weekend!

I think he suggested one the dog mold he did in your other video on the plastic you can make that into a picture frame right in the middle suggestion to let all your viewers know that they can zoom in real close what you’re doing as much as they want
Those look so great! I really love the moon and the circle! They look like stained glass! That tape is a great size, too. I've seen someone fold over the ends so you have somewhere not sticky to hold to move them around. Can't remember who that was, though. Hope you're having a great day!

I bought a set of the J Dickson UV resin and was somewhat disappointed because the colors are considerably weaker that what show.

When using the tape, I always fold a corner over so that it doesn’t stick to your fingers. It was a big game changer for me, also stops your gloves sticking to it
