      absolutely! i always try to do that for videos where i don't show the book cover very clearly or discuss the book very extensively in case viewers want to look into a certain book more or add it to their reading list (^◡^)

    What a fun video. I liked Girl Juice.
    Hell Phone is a better read, but it's going on 2yrs and I'm still waiting for vol.2
    I want to read Eileen (Ottessa Moshfegh), Strange Sally Diamond (Liz Nugents).
    The Ritual (Adam Nevill) I'll get to soon since it's a library book.
    Have you read Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead (Olga Tokarczuk) ?

    • @superblomper
      @superblomper  9 месяцев назад

      girl juice was definitely not terrible, but i think i just rly didn't like the character bunny ugh
      i dnf'd eileen and am contemplating if i'll ever return to adam nevill...lol his writing style is a lil too longwinded for my taste, but his books do always intrigue me. i have not read drive your plow over the bones of the dead!!! should i?

      @@superblomper Plow: I liked Janina. Not a "everyone-dies-is-mutilated" book to your liking , but a day in the life read with a murder mystery. I could picture the countryside and the general area because of the prose.
      Earthlings: Took a hard left turn into wattduffukk territory for me, but you might enjoy
      The Vegetarian .
      I already mentioned Birnam Wood and The Bee Sting.
      Kafka's short story In The Penal Colony has a twisted/motivated individual I could imagine you having a coffee with .
