I certainly would not wish to wearing those heavy garments. We have certainly come a long way in the medical world. Loved seeing the children pulverising the actors. Thoroughly enjoyed coming along with you. Great video, enjoyed understanding life in the Medieval period. 🙏🏼👍🏼
Hello... This is brilliant. Thanks dir this and your advises yesterday at the Waverley Trip. We were enjoying your company 🍀☀️😘 greetings from Kerstin & Berthold
We both enjoyed meeting you too! I hope are relaxed today! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Make sure to watch the Connel one while you are staying there! ruclips.net/video/cs8QY1NfoEU/видео.html
What great way to spend the day! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Life must have been a challenge back then. Heaven forbid you get sick! My goodness, a lot of those remedies are worse than the illness, but I guess they were learning, and the things they learned that worked, was passed on to the next generation, and through the years got better and better, so that's a good thing. I wonder what those who live several thousands of years from now will think of how we lived? Will they have festivals sharing about how we lived and ate, healed each other or fought battles? Interesting to think about.
It was fab! The different skills these guys possess are amazing. As for the future, will human life be sustained for another few thousand years, I wonder......

The garments were much heavier that I imagined! The reenactors however are a fabulous bunch of learned folk!

I am overdue a revisit Dunstaffnage.
No Viking event until next year 😉 The medieval event was just as interesting!
@@ExploringScotlandsHistory I am hoping to be in the area in October. I might just have to pop in for a visit, anyway.
This is so awesome to see. The participants seemed to really enjoy this. Thank you!

@@ExploringScotlandsHistory so true…. It’s hard to say what this world will like in the future… we humans haven’t always been the best caretakers.. 🫤🌎
That looked fun - apart from the medicine! Better not to get ill at all.
Yes, moving forward with medicine definitely came with a few flaws ☠️
