Brooo I stumbled across an instagram reel about this and I immediately had to check it out - it's so amazing, I wish there was a second part! From the beginning it was obvious that something would play out with the girl in the balcony but I never would've imagined that she was going to be the cafe girl??! Like seriously omg I loved that plot twist lol! Most of all because they had actually connected with their real life appearance so it would also encourage them and help them understand that to be loved, they don't have to be anything else other than themselves ❤
She is already one of my favorite directors of any gender. Have you seen her first film, _Revenge_ ? She literally has a 100 % batting average. She has directed two films, and both happen to be amazing. And this short is brilliant.
@@niklasss I suppose the issues could be different for the two characters. The male actor although not ugly, is certainly not handsome, but strives to be seen as exceptionally beautiful. The woman is quite attractive but can't see it; she strives to be the beautiful blonde that she thinks all men desire.

Yeah - That was good. Well written. Amazing how you told this story and developed the characters over only a 22 minute film. I was able to empathise with both Vincent and Stella. Well done!!!

I predicted the end but this film is nice. SFXs, Cam Techs, cinematic lights and scenerio is good. I think there should be unlimited options. Face, body, voice etc.
I like how the futuristic Paris has a skyscraper skyline when so far they’ve said they’ll never build anything taller than the Eiffel Tower as it’s meant to be seen from all over Paris and the view not blocked by any other buildings

So it's not like they change their physical appearance in reality, but their enhanced look really is just something that fellow Reality+ user see, but if you don't use it, you see him still in his normal look Cmiiw
Yup. Except with Surrogates you pilot your physical double, kinda like in Avatar. Meanwhile, Reality+ is more like a glamor spell that only work on fellow subscribers.

They forget Black Mirror, Jordan Peele and IN PARTICULAR the very first episode of black mirror. That REALLY hit a spot and I guess it was THAT uncomfortable that people forgot it got alteady made more than a decade ago!

That's kinda the point though. None of the 2 actors are actually ugly, but both feel pressure to look better anyway.
