Honestly, the boyscout thing and the bathroom incident were my favorite by far. The roll away situation at worlds is the most consequential, but not as fun as the boyscouts and bathroom ones.
I've done stats for several seasons now. There has been NO change in the amount or type of prep (recruiting, training, etc) between Udisc and PDGA. It's really just an issue of access to volunteers. In the Udisc era, some low cards had to keep their own stats and players got PISSED.

I was at USDGC and witnessed the AB shank into the bushes. That was actually a pretty miserable day. Day 3 card when that happened was AB, Nikko, Gannon, and Isaac Robinson. Isaac Robinson was cool because he plays pretty fast but holy crap were AB, Nikko and Gannon slow. By the time we got to the back 9 the chase card was almost 3 holes ahead of them. Those 3 should never be allowed on the same card again. lol.
I think after this year they should move Champions Cup to Charlotte. Either Hornets Nest or Nevin or both. Champions Cup was originally at WR Jackson in Georgia so moving it to NC isn't that far. The DGPT Championship in Charlotte always suffered because it was right after USDGC so moving the Charlotte tournament earlier in the year would probably help with attendance.
Can’t believe Wynn dragon didn’t win. I had never been so embarrassed to play disc golf in my life. That video made a mockery of our sport in a society that already thinks disc golf is lame 😭 the levels of emotions I felt when first seeing that is unmatched lmao big miss here lol
1:00:00 some insight from on the ground; in 2023 it was borderline annoying to sit at the first tee and watch players tee off because as a guy spectating by myself I’d always get asked by UDisc employees to score. They had a really good sales pitch talking about how intimate and special the experience would be. They would then provide 3-4 minutes of impromptu training, seemingly made easier because we’re all already familiar with the app. I personally declined every single time because I didn’t pay a ticket fee in order to volunteer, but I have to give UDisc credit for their tenacity. This year it was very obviously just up to the TD’s to assign random volunteers to stat keeping. My feeling was that the least experienced volunteers often got put there while the guys who really knew what they were doing were given more important roles. Im making this assumption as most of the scorekeepers this year were teenagers. Hard working kids put often put in way over their heads.
Hard to understand why Uli would not seek legal action against the "people who jumped him" if that's actually what happened and they were completely responsible for his injuries considering the impact it has had and will continue to have on his play as a pro athlete 🤔
Uli has a girlfriend, and female friends, just get some concealer or stage makeup to cover it up. I'm sure someone could've gotten him a tone that worked with his skin and had that looking like nothing ever happened in less than 5 minutes.

There are thousands of coffees, so the only reason to buy it is for the branding. I'd go so far as to argue that if someone's looking at a package in which the words Kat, Krack, and Koffee are all spelled out in a line with no emphasis aside from capitalization put on the Ks and somehow reading Ku Klux Klan out of it; that's an issue with them, not the producer of the package. Normal people would look at it and think it was slightly cutesy because her name's Kat and the rest of the words have Ks too. If it'd been Kat Krack or Krack Koffee, no one would have batted an eye, but add one more word to an innocuous name and look out! It's racist now; better watch out for those flaming crosses! Actually, wait, a restaurant around here rebranded their "Crack Fries" to "Cosmic Fries" because apparently calling them crack fries was offensive to drug users. I wish I was making that up. (as an aside, I was there for the first time in a couple of years, and the aforementioned fries are no longer nearly as good or "addictive" as they were; had about 1/4 of the seasoning and were of different texture.)
