fact!! but this one time my sister and i were hiding behind the kitchen door munching on sugar and didn't hear here coming at all. for quite a while she couldn't figure out how we'd managed to escape her. she could see the amount of sugar diminishing but, how were these two kids outsmarting her. the thing is she wore this bangles and we could hear her come a mile away 😂 to this day i cannot forget the way she snuck up on us, right hand holding all the bangles on her left wrist. 🤣 we were both 😳😱
Isn’t it rare for a celebrity of his calibre to be proud of a parent and humbled by the knowledge of the position his mother held. You have to admire that.
Yeah... though once you become a celebrity, you realise there's nothing that special about it, you still have to use the toilet and some other mortal things...
I'm proud of the jobs my parents did before I was even a thought on anyones' mind too. My mum is full of tales about her days as a dancer touring the eastern block world with her dance companies from Cuba and all the bitchiness of her fellow dancers. And my Dad has lots of tales of nearly getting eaten by a lion in the Serengetii when he was doing research for his universitys in the 1980s. Okay it's not quite MI6, or anything like the world of James Bond but you would have loved to have been there as a fly on the wall or just to keep him company.
I think he meant that he heard the same distinctive footsteps at home and in other places in his life. Perhaps she had a confident gait that was different from other mothers? Hugh was learning that it sounded that way to people who worked with her as well - unusual, and noteworthy.

every child can hear their parents footsteps and know "here they come".. its a survival instinct that we all learn to tune into it very early
Mom and dad's knee, etc joints creaked, cracked differently. Depending on the sound, shenanigans stopped or ramped up lol

No, absolutely not. Celebrities not being proud of their parents has never been a thing, or even an inaccurate stereotype.
Not really. If you watch these episodes of this show, it is not uncommon at all to hear stars like this, when parentage comes up, to talk so proudly.
Hugh will, forever, win the "My mom was cooler than your mom" challenge!
Weirdly I find this connects so well to his role in monument men.

Wow, this is just like when Jackie Chan found out his father was an actual spy. It's some how interesting and yet spooky at the same time.🤐

What did he mean when he said he remembered the footsteps? Did he used to also work there?
Of his mother who work there, I think
Step in line, the boss is coming.

He was quoting the man who worked with his mom. Then he said he also heard those same footsteps at home.
Has she ever killed a person?
