Wondering why you said at end of vid that unplugging the hose from compressor helps between zones? I’m going to be wintering my system tomorrow first time ever and I’m concerned if my little Harbor Freight Fortress 2 gal compressor is going to be up to the job. Since I’m purging 6 heads on 250’ of 1” pipe, won’t the (pressurized) pipe itself act in a way as additional capacity as I sequentially do each zone? Why would disconnecting the hose do anything but require redundant re-pressurization each round for more runtime on compressor? Happy to be corrected by anyone in my thinking!

2-$300? huh Average is $15 per zone.

Depends on where you are at. I would also assume the average that doesn't include the initial service fee. No one is coming out for $30 to blow out 2 zones. $15 is cheap.

@@HomeRepairHub service fee? Nobody has 2 zones. Everyone has at least 6 zones. It’s a dime a dozen business. And coming out? Like they are out just for you right? They do 10+ a day. And the $15 a zone is the “service fee”. Stop trying to justify ur garbage. And I live in one of the most expensive areas in the country.

I appreciate the feedback. Number of zones is based on size of yard and pressure, there isn't a minimum number of zones. 6-9 is common, though defintely not a requirement. If you can get it for $15 a zone, thats a great price.

@@HomeRepairHub like I said NOBODY has 2 zones. That’s just stupid talk. And $15 is the going rate. These guys are a dime a dozen. Literally 50+ guys in one area. Nobody paying $300 for a 15 minute blowout. That’s dumb talk.

@@HomeRepairHub and how would you know what’s a great price when you don’t use anyone to blow out the line? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. But love the “step by step guide”. 🤣🤣. Turn off the water. Hook up a compressor and run the zones. Easy 30 second video even a monkey can do.
