Mean bike man. Sounds amazing. I fully agree with the cruiser wave vs the sports bike wave. I’ll be honest, I’ll wave at anyone (even CAN-AMs, they cool) I find when I ride my 250, I don’t get as many waves as the Blackbird. It’s an odd concept. Some bikes command a bit more presence?
I typically try to wave at everybody but often wait to be waved to first. I suspect maybe some seasoned riders may not feel the "smaller bike newbie" isn't worthy of a wave. Heck if I know.
@@LuckyAcesRiding if you are out there doing, you got my respect. I see plenty of people selling their bikes after a short period as they realise it's not for them. (Totally fine too, gotta fine your jam.)
I'm not 100% sure since they were on the bike when I got it. Just measuring the risers appear to be about 5-6" of rise with about 4" of pullback. The bars were about 38" wide or so. Comfortable but just felt too big. Currently I am running 2" risers and 12" apes.
@@LuckyAcesRiding juat wanted to say, i got those bars! They are on the bike and i love them lol they are what j call mini apes, i think they're 10" and i have 1"1/4 risers on it now too. Its transformed the bike completely! Looking forward to more videos ill post pics of the before and afier soon.
@@LuckyAcesRiding No need to take credit, it just sounds like a beast. Maybe get yourself some earplugs for the long rides, to keep your hearing a little while longer, and avoid the ringing. ;)
I've been thinking about earplugs for a while as the ringing is already there a little bit. Not 100% from riding but all the wind noise doesn't help.@@PaulsMotoZen
@@LuckyAcesRiding Not to promote anything, but I use "Plugfones". They have decent hearing protection, while also letting you listen to your music, directions, audio books, and other stuff. I use the "Protector (VL)" because I do not talk on my phone while riding. I listen to music and directions. I do not need the ones with a microphone. Yeah, I sounded like an infomercial, a bad infomercial... hehe
No way! I ride this exact bike!!! I love it soooo much!
Shes a beauty all right! Ive often considered buying one of these too. I just never see them for sale locally
I like it with the bags. Looks like it's ready to go somewhere.
That is a mean, mean bike right there!!! Sounds awesome bud. 👌 Have fun!
But not too much fun! The difference between this and the Shadow is significant. I am going to lose my license lol!
@@LuckyAcesRiding 😂👍👍
I'm really enjoying your videos. Nice new bike. I'll expect some longer traveling videos.
Thanks friend! That's the plan once it warms up a little!
oh nice... a fellow carolina boy. subscribed. I'm down in Fayetteville. Safe travels!
Safe travels to you as well!
Can you provide a link for the fairing?

Bike looks great as a bagger!
I wasn't sure how I felt about the batwing but it is growing on me! The cheap bags work but as some point I'd like to upgrade to something nicer.
How is it to adjust the valves?
I have never done that before and with 24k miles I'm not sure if this bike has had it done before. Well now I'm curious.
we need an overview of this machine
I'll see what I can do! I just wish I could take credit for it lol!

@@anthonymartin6119 Awesome! I'm gad you found something that works!
House does a rider get insurance for something called mean streak? That’s asking for a high premium.
I prefer the term VN1600B, lol. Honestly it isn't too bad but I'm also in my late 30's with a (mostly) clean driving record.
Sounds good.
I wish I could take credit for it lol!

Don’t sale the Shadow brother
I never could get rid of the Shadow! I have spent way too much money on it plus it feels like a part of me at this point!
