Fun fact for Power Blade. Guy on box is not modeled after Arnold, rather the actual artist who did the box art.
"According to Winterbauer, "a certain movie star's lawyers" sent him a very unpleasant letter regarding the painting used for the cover. Winterbauer was able to prove that he had used a photograph of himself for reference and received no further unpleasant letters."
Edit : Another "Hidden Gem" on the Gameboy is James Bond 007. It actually plays similar to a Zelda game. I know there's been more and more talk about it lately and it definitely deserves it as It's a great game. Personally It's my favorite Bond game, as you actually do Bond stuff instead of just shoot people.

Sadly, Hertz wasn't a prolific developer: I only know about one other game to their name, a "submarine shooter" for the MSX named Hydefos. Amazing soundtrack also.
If you ever do a follow up to this video, you must include two gems for the Spectrum: Mighty Final Fight and Castlevania: Spectral Interlude. A sequel also came out in Japan: Survival Kids 2: Dasshutsu! Futago Shima. Pretty good, too. A fan translation for that is available, too. After that the series continued on the Nintendo DS as 'Lost in Blue' 1-3, and then there was one more entry on the Wii: Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked.

I find it rather funny how Kick Master and Shatter Hand are polar opposites of each other. One is a game set in a fantasy setting with many different kicking moves, the other is in a SciFi setting where you punch things and have a complex powerup system.
Also, bringing up the GBC Daikatana game reminded me that there was a official GBC demake of Quest 64 that's also better then it's 3D counterpart. It's called Quest RPG: Brain's Journey (or something like that anyways) which has scripted story sequences and characters interacting together. It still doesn't have everything that was cut from the N64 game, but it's a closer look at what they may have intended for the final game to be like if they hadn't been forced by THQ to push it out the door before it was ready. Not sure if it's good enough for this list, but it is a curiosity non the less.

Survival Kids Fun Facts: this game had not one or two but _several_ possible endings, an expansive map full of branching cave systems and intricate puzzles, and a great story to carry it along
It’s fair to say that the game was a work of art, especially given the limitations of the hardware at the time, GBC had only just released less than a year prior, so this game was made to run on both the classic and color systems

Banana Prince, Low G Man, G.I. Joe, Recca, Burai Fighter, Trolls in CrazyLand,etc.. all of them made by same people...
Some didn't had famicom version and only NES release yet was made by japanese developers of that company which is weird..

Really cool picks... usually people seem to neglect the difference between a "cult classic" and a "hidden gem". You didn't in this list which made me happy. Would you consider Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti, Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa and Otocky hidden gems? I've heard other people talking about them and they are somewhat well known... Otocky especially's a weird one; it's like a musical composition shoot em up. When you shoot an enemy it produces a sound that fits with the music according to the different directions you hit them.
