- Follow along as we do a cheap traction modification for my sons power wheels. It went no where in our yard before. This transformed his power wheels into a real back yard adventure toy!
Авто/Мото
I use old lawn mower tires.. they're wider and made for turf..
Great idea!! Thanks for sharing!!
Dude, awesome idea.... I just upgraded to 18volt lithium rigid power tool batteries... it gives it much a needed power upgrade, he’d power up those hills no problem and they are quick charge
Awesome work man thanks!
Your'e so right, the wheels should come like this, with some traction.
Would cause binding in the drivetrain on concrete
Awesome! What a cutie, lucky little kiddo! Good job Dad!
Thank you!!
You will NEVER be able to put that Jeep back on slow speed. Look at that joy for the speed upgrade.
How about a can of flex seal ? Would that work ?
Now up the power
Love it! We building a Li-ion for it next? I've got some batteries.....
In due time. :)
Did a Dewalt mod on my kids. Running the 9Ah. Lmao. No traction
I’ve watched two or three videos of this mod and they’re all screwing into the wheel. I have the Dune Buggy one for my kid and the wheel is super thin (it has one of the knobs worn right off it) so I don’t understand what exactly they are screwing to?
Plastic wheel
I would think some type of strong glue might work too.
Would all four tires be overkill ?
John Zancana he could use the extra traction in the grass when he first starts he always go straight for a second then turns regardless of the direction of the wheels. If I wanted to put more time into it I would have done the fronts as well.
the question 'why doesn't it come like this?' is one that i've been asking....
It’s helps the motor last longer because there isn’t a gear box
It would make to much sense, they want you to ware holes in plastic wheels so you have to replace
i was thinking how bad these things could rip up a yard if they actually had traction. Especially since the motor control is simply on/off!
This is a really clever fix, but the jury is still out on your sunglasses.
