BWR Wafer and Wanna: Belgian Waffle Ride California 2022

This is the 2022 BWR Wafer and the BWR Wanna in San Marcos, CA, from the perspective of average cyclists. Come experience the more attainable versions of the Belgian Waffle Ride from me while doing the BWR Wafer and from my dad while doing the the BWR Wanna.
This is the perfect race for us to do together as it meets in the middle of our cycling interests and desire to cover miles. I generally prefer all terrain bicycle touring, and my dad generally prefers cross country mountain biking.
Other than that, all you really need to know about the BWR is that instead of medals, finishers receive a celebratory bottle of beer. Oh, and who could forget the pre-race waffles and the post-race waffles with ice cream.
