This is a concern to our education system, imagine a graduate cant answer basic question like this, or rather ignorant of the learners. Well done to the last brother with ur knowledge and focus keep teaching others as we all continue to learn .

My grandmother, mom, aunts and uncles made sure I read the clock correctly when i was a kid. They'd always send me to look at the clock as a kid and made sure to correct me if I was wrong.

@@nyahb3242 lol when I was a kid they were all still young and living at or close to home. I grew up and became distant from everyone (depression). Things changed a lot with time. Uncles got married and nobody cares about anyone outside their nuclear families anymore. I've got my mom and aunts now though and my grandmom is gone. Sad but it's the way life happens.

I can really relate with the failures of the basic education we receive in our country, which just like me most of those respondents have also suffered from. I had to cover up by teaching myself some of those basic things later on because I didn't want to be left behind, and it was embarrassing to not know some basic things that my schoolmates knew LOL

Thank God for my father who used a whole evening, and a spare clock, to teach us how to tell the time correctly. 75% of a child's success at school, and in life, is from the home/upbringing. Parents please put away social media/phones and pay attention to your children.

This is what a 8 years old Basic/ primary pupil can comfortably answer. I doubt if some of these people attended secondary school talk more of passing through the four walls of a standard University.

My friend, don't use the sample denoted here to give such vague allusion. I had my first degree in Physics in Nigeria, studied in the US and in France for my Graduate studies and I tell you solemnly that my strong foundation in Nigeria, aided my ranking at the top of my class in the aforementioned countries. There are many Nigerians studying for a PhD in various elite institutions and they are very smart, not comparable to any other Africans. So chill okay, and speak for yourself alone.

watched this video of mine being interviewed by Jojofalani on my POP day for more than 5times and I can't stop laughing... I'm actually the fifth person (the third male) he interviewed in this video.
For those of you who think that those of us who didn't proffer the right answers are not intelligent you must be out of your mind... over excitement and pressure is likely to cause anyone to fail these questions irrespective of your academic level.
At first, I surprised how someone like me who happens to be a mathematics fanatic with high level intelligence would fail such a question and fall prey to Jojofalani's trick.
After the POP I and my friends went straight to the eatery to get some food, while I was eating I got a flashback about the question and it was that moment I realized that I have fucked up 🤣🤣🤣 and told them that they should expect me in Jojofalani's page any moment and when they see the video that they shouldn't laugh at me. One month later, boom! video dropped... Friends & family don laugh tire, and I also laughed at it cause it was very funny. They thought the video was staged because it's almost impossible for those who knew me to believe, but it wasn't. They didn't believe I fell for that.
In summary, I guess it was over excitement or probably pressure that made most of us not to think straight at that moment.
I hereby conclude that nobody is above any sort of silly mistakes. Be it 1+1.
Meanwhile, it was a business day for Jojofalani as usual.

Intelligence and Book-smart are two different concepts. The fact one is able to pass their exams and graduate does not necessarily equate intelligence. Similarly, the fact that one is unable to pass their exams or graduate doesn't necessarily equate unintelligence.
Remember, there was/is English & Verbal reasoning, Mathematics & Quantitative reasoning and then there is Philosophy and Logic.
Note- Being intelligent is not subject to slow pace and comfort.
While it is understandable that some questions can be "tricky" this was definitely not a trick question, it was neither complicated nor a riddle.
Even when a trick question is asked, one who is intelligent would know precisely how to answer correctly.
