At 15:53 HOLY CRAP !!!! I've watched dozens of people play this and Subnautica. BUT YOU ! YOU ! YOU, ARE THE FIRST ONE TO ACTIVELY, RECOGNIZE MARGURITE'S VOICE ON SIGHT. AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Silver is in the argentite (argent is French for silver) outcrops. They changed the outcrops for below zero: Limestone - copper and titanium Argentite - silver and titanium Galena - lead and titanium Calaverite - gold and titanium
Sea Monkey: What have you got?? Lana: A KNIFE! Man I have missed the frantic confusion. I love the little wiggly arms on the scanner tool. Just sitting there all woobly. I think they might not be able to locate things inside the rocks, so try scanning for the breakable rocks that have silver in them? (Can't remember what they are off the top of my head rn) "I'm freezing hug me!" Relatable. I'm so glad you finally met Marguerit.
Watch the scanner icon that pops up in the bottom corner, it let's you know when you can scan. If you scan the outcrops before breaking them (e.i. Limestone, Sandstone...) it will tell you what is found inside. I felt this episode in my soul, just loot globlin heaven!!
When using the mineral detector, it leads you to nearby minerals of choice. When it says searching, it means youre not near any of that mineral. You also should scan the map at delta station, it can help you find the other bases. There are 5 bases in total. You should also help the SOS, its needed for progression and after that, sea monkeys stop try to steal your items and instead give you things
1. You should TOTALLY care about the distress signal. Especially if you like the sea monkeys ;) 2. HER. QUEEN OF 4546B. I was so excited waiting for you to finally find that exit -- I think you've gotten the closest to having her land directly on top of you that I've watched so far. 3. Thanks for the Christmas present! I hope you have an amazing holiday!
If a Sea Monkey steals something from you you can simply follow it and grab the stuff back. It's surprising when it happens for the first time but really not a big issue. Besides - you can avoiding them stealing from you super easily: When they approach to steal they make a chirping sound. Just empty your hands when you hear that - they can only steal what you're holding in your hands, but not what is in your backpack. The moving faster with empty hands only applies to swimming, not to running. And it excludes holding the Seaglide of course.
This is great! Very enjoyable. Hope you continue playing despite your fears. About gathering resources: you might want to scan the resource stones (limestone etc.). There are subtle differences to the first game. For example, when looking for silver, you want to know which stones to search for.
8:56 you can actually develop a relationship with the species and they can be helpful in ways I won't spoil, just think of them as friendly kids or swimming puppies
7:21 "Get In The Water, Get In The Water, Get In The Water... Never thought I'd say something like that." I didn't either, I was really surprised that you said something like that. 😄 By the way, it might (just might) be helpful if you scanned the resource stones at least once before you smash them so that you know what's inside and they appear in the mineral scanner menu.
i wish you knew how close you were to silver when you were at delta station and you found out that you were in the water that rock that was in front of you like kyle said it is french for silver. you are doing great thank you for the Christmas present. its always a joy to see how exited you get when you start getting stuff to scan and you forget the scary stuff. also you get the joy of not having played the early access version where the one writer left and they had to change the story. i was never one of the ones who was disappointed by this game, its about the story. i hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday merry Christmas oh and bless you or geshundtight
@@KMCA779 She doesn't like being in the water, but she freezes to death outside. Plus all the new, unfamiliar noises and these dark, winding caves and crevices. This will certainly be an interesting Lets Play.
Below Zero is the game where I really used the air bladder - you deploy it at depth and it shoots you to the surface really fast, and gives you a pretty significant window of extra time before having to surface. It has a limited capacity so you can't rely on it at all depths, but Below Zero has a lot of shallower biomes that it works really well in 👍
Keep the flares for now, you'll need them later against a certain type of ground creature to keep them at bay. Snowballs have their use for later but you don't need them right now. Mineral Detector is like a short range portable Scanner Room. But it depletes its battery quite quickly and its range is quite limited, about 30m I'd say. Early game, you should just explore around for the story beacons to activate, so you know where to go from the game itself. The oxygen plants replenish after about a minute. Pingwings will attack you if you steal their babies from them. Otherwise, they are harmless. Marguerit was a mercenary hidred by Paul Thorgal to protect them... When they crashed on 4546B, Marguerit took her own chances when their habitat was gonna be destroyed (the one in blue globes cave with the warpers and crabsquids). We never heard from her again... until now. She was chasing a Reaper Leviathan if you recall. Her Prawn is customized for survival. You'll HAVE to explore that crevasse you fear so much (however it's not where the game leads you for the story, but it's necessary to acquire some ressources).
The mineral detector detects things that are exposed, so to speak. There’s a few places with exposed silver, but you’ll have better luck if you set the mineral detector to argentite
Great analysis, thank you! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
One trick is to let a Seamonkey steal a beacon from you, then follow it down to their nests.
Huh! I hadn’t actually thought of that! Multiple playthroughs and it could’ve been that simple
Glad you made friends with the Thermal Lilys 😎
She has now encountered her first hostile fish.

Also if you scan the outcrops, the PDA entries tell you what you can find in them. Its very useful to have the in game reference.

At 20:22, DID YOU SCAN THE ACTUAL MAP !?!?!?!?! I wouldn't normally spoil, but it's very important you do. It'll help you navigate around.

Which is fair enough - there are also new dangers :)
those yellow pools are hotsprings. they warm you up.

24:04 datapad on the docks? Been awhile since I played this so I could be mistaken. Might be nothing.

Thank you so much!!!!!! Merry Belated Christmas

THE MAP! You missed the map. Also Silver is in Argentinite deposits.
Wait I thought Below Zero episodes were Thursday? I mean I'm not complaining
With the Christmas season kinda taking over my schedule, I thought I’d publish today 🎄
