Very well explained. My car only opens the trunk and driver's door. Gasoline and others I have to open the manual. I will review Do you have a PDF of the diagram? Thank you
I just googled w124 Central locking diagram and found a lot of helpful images. Can you hear your vacuum pump operating? Trunk, Driver, and front passenger all send electrical signals. Rear passengers and petrol flap and vacuum only. The yellow lines are the vacuum lines. If you put down a little more info on what's going on on your side I could give you more of my thoughts. Keep in mind, I'm not an expert though :D
@@ArcticWhite300TE Thanks for responding Yes, you can hear the engine under the back seat. And those with the back doors open and close whenever they want, if they're lucky. Not that they will always work. Just like gasoline. Every so often I lubricate with spray and it works for a while. Then it's time to open the manual. You are not an expert. But you know more than me and that helps😅
Thank you for this wonderful explanation. Can you tell me where you got the wiring diagram? Is there a repository of these where I can grab them? Thanks!
I’ve added the website I got this one from in the description. I usually visit many websites until I find what I need… I have yet to find my one place to go for everything.
Doing great work, I'm waiting for delivery of my new (old) 124. And love watching the problem solving at work
Thank you for the time and explanation.
You’re welcome!

Where did you get the fuel pump locking mechanism?
Both the vacuum pump and the fuel lid lock were supplied by a friend and his spare parts car!
I did not know you had a twin?
He escaped the glove box again…
